Kuldiha forest guide

It was lovely visiting here. Specially watching the Trogon here was a spectacular experience. You'll also get a lot of other species here. I recommend contacting Manoranjan Das before coming here.

Very very very exciting place. It's start from panchalingeswar. Have to go by foot upward by 30 to 40 minutes to reached the view place. It's a combined experience of walk through jangle and climb a hill. Artificial sound less place and with various natural sounds different types of trees surrounded by you and narrow hilly road will just charming u along the journey. After the end of journey at the view point all the hard work u have done will come to a loving conclusion.

Before entering into forest, needs permit which is available from Kuldiha forest sanctuary office near Nilgiri Police station. Entry fees Rs.200/car and rs.20/head. This office open upto 1 pm and inside jungle upto 5 pm. Any car can enter, narrow but good mud road.

To see elephant you have to visit in summer time. stay at forest nature camp beside a lake. Every day whey will come for bath.(as per forest ranger officer)

Fabulous place for everyone

When you visit Panchlingeswar you must spend one day for Kuldiha Wildlife Sanctuary or you may visit there directly. There is govt.resort in Kuldiha. Deers and elephants are main attraction. You should book a guide to viait all the points in the forest and also the saltpits over there.
You can be there in the forest upto 5.30pm.

Though we didn't see elephants, on the whole, it was good. Photos explain better than words, hence.....

Try to book a camp inside the jungle 3000 for 2 per day with food

There is the temple cum hill that lord shiva named Panchalingeswar situated... such a natural place.. calm nd peaceful place hearing you only the sound of the waterfall...
