Kedareshwar Mandir ,Prakasha

Mahadev mandir and darshan with scenic views of the Tapi river.

A very much sacred place. Also called as Prati Kashi or Dakshin Kashi. In 1955 Indian archaeology department has found remenents of chalcolithic period here, which are around 2500 years old. So this place has a rich historical importance. The temple is spacious and nicely situated on the banks of majestic Tapi river. The view of temple from prakasha barrage is amazing. There's a huge area for parking four wheelers. Please try to avoid throwing litter in the river. Must visit.

Located in Prakasha, Tahsil Shahda, District Nandurbar, Maharashtra. It is a Hindu religious place having temples of Lord Shankar. Situated on the bank of holy river Tapi. It can be easily approach by road either from Nandurbar or Shahada city.

The Kedareshwar Temple is very holly and ancient temple. It is also popularly knows as 'Dakshin Kashi'. It is located on right bank of river Tapi near Prakasha in Shahada Tehsil of Nadurbar District. Near this temple the right bank tributary of the Tapi , The river Gomaati (गोमाई) meet to the river Tapi and made Sangam (संगम). Where the Sangameshwaar Mahadev Temple is located. Thousands of devotees are visited in a year but most of the people visitted in Shravan Maas.

I am a humble devotee of Mahadev but when I came here, my mind found a wonderful peace
