Beautiful camp within the jungle. Morning starts with Bird's whistle. Lush green evergreen surrounding, quiet jungle path, occasional view of deer or elephant, smell of jungle and hospitality of smiling faces will definitely make everyone happy.

A nice place to stay inside core forest. At midnight heard of elephant came though could not cross trench (parikha) but created the ambience truly authentic inside forest. But there are villages very near core area which reduces animal visiting chance near camp..Though we could witness few animal enroute kuldiha and jodachua FRH..
The hospitality is great here.. The lunch was awesome and we were the only guest the day we visited.. while roaming around the forest, we had the sense of being alone in the whole forest..

Beautiful place, right within a jungle and next to a small dam. Possible sightings of elephant, giant squirrel, Sambar, Asian buffalo and a variety of birds.

Stay is in tents, decently equipped and solar powered. Tent and surroundings are well maintained. The camp has a common dining area. Service levels and food is very good.

For jungle safari, you have to take your own vehicle and a guide can accompany you for a nominal fee.

What a place for a soulful vacation. You will feel the music of nature, bird's chirp , the music of the stream flow, and the green colour Is so soothing for your eyes. Nature is fullest here. This place is perfect for bird photography, almost 250 varieties of birds you can found in winter. Food is like so so different and very organic. I enjoyed every and each item of the cheff. And in evening pakori chai was an another level. Love this place.

One of the best place to hangout. Away from concrete jungle n away from social media.. if u want to stay isolated for few days, if u want to spend time with nature n if u want to see the natural beauty.. then u r at right place, rissia nature camp...

Omg. What to say about this place. Mostly like a horror film when it gets dark. Situated in the heart of the jungle. We couldn't encounter any animals because we stayed there just for a day. I would suggest stay there for two day and wait patiently near the salt pit to get glimpse of elephants. But staying in the tent and the delicious simple food they cook is a great combination.

Brilliant place to stay inside the forest. Though did not spot too many animals, the beautiful forest made up for it...recommended

This location inside core forest. So, not expected of star category rooms. It was tent and it's normal. Peaceful place only silence. Enjoyed more.

Its a beautiful place with nice service and clean tents, the toilets are also clean and well maintained, the food is simple and tasty. We enjoyed our stay there, would love to go there again

Very beautiful place, many animals to see. Mostly you won't be able to see anything, but many sambar deers , elephants , wild chickens and even Tigers can be found and seen at a very close distance.
We were able to see some Deers but we got footage of them.You can camp in the forest and enjoy a very beautiful scenery and also have many
Sounds of foxes and etc.
You can also hve a bonfire feast during the night.
That's why many people, including me give it a five star 🌟🌟.

Rissia Nature Camp is in Kuldiha Forest range is near to Balasore and Just approx 20km from Panchalingeshwar and Nilagiri in Balasore.
It is approx 290km drive by road from Kolkata to Rissia Nature Camp,Kuldiha.
The place is a perfect destination for the nature lover's, those who love forests and safari in the heart of core jungle by driving own car or bike.
One can explore the Kuldiha Santuary in his/her own vehicle self driving, the nature beauty with luck and chance to see wild animals like deer,baison,jackal,beer,peacock and many varieties of Birds.
The night stay in tent in the core forests will definitely give you adventure feelings.
Rissia dam is also a nearby attraction which you can explore also.

Rissia Nature Camp at Kuldiha Wildlife Sanctuary is located at Gohirbhola. It is a magnificent place. There are 9 double bedded tent accommodation at this camp. It is under Odisha forest development corporation. The cost of accommodation here for 2 persons is Rs.3740 including tax. Lunch, dinner, breakfast & snacks are included with this price. You have to pay Rs.1000 for 1 extra person. Tents are provided with small LED lamps at night through solar power. Also hot water is provided for bathing through solar power. Quality of meal & breakfast is excellent. They provided rice, salad, dal, 2 types of vegetable preparation, potato fry, fish curry at lunch. In the evening snacks they p rrovided tea & pakoda. In dinner they provided rice, roti, dal, vegetable preparation, egg curry, salad. In breakfast they provided luchi, vegetable preparation & rosgolla. You have to take permit from Kuldiha range office at Nilagiri near Baleswar before coming here. The guard at entry point would open the gate of Kuldiha Wildlife Sanctuary after checking this permit. The entry fee is Rs.40 per person. You can reach this place by your own car.

You have to book this camp online. One thing I want to emphasise at the outset I.e. don't rely too much on Google to reach this place. Always ask locals when you remain about 50 km from this place. Google is not good in protected wildlife areas. If you don't know odiya you will have to be a bit creative to interact with locals because most of the people here are not very comfortable in hindi. Also, you will have no network at this place so download offline map of this area when you start from home. Also, there is no mobile charging facility so carry power bank.
Now, about this camp. The camp is located on the back side of rissia dam at gahirbhola. You will be provided a tent double bed accommodation which is on a raised tiled platform. It is carpeted. You will also be given a pvt. tent western toilet which is separate from the room by about two feet. They will also give you a mosquito net which you must use. The temperature here is a bit lower than surrounding. They will give you a blanket. they provide filtered water. They also keep bottled water.
The source of power here is solar panels. A fan and a light in the room is powered by battery charged by these solar panels. The light in the room is dim, so reading in room in night might stress your eyes. They will also provide hot water on demand.
The food provided is good and hygienic.
The forest is small and it will not take more than 3 hrs to cover it. If you reach here at 12, then after taking lunch you may start for jungle safari. You may take a local guide to assist you. But again they are only comfortable in odiya. The guide may assist you in taking proper route. But even if you don't take a guide the chances of getting lost in the forest is very remote because it is small forest. If you took guide in the evening then you needn't take him in the morning because you will be familiar with the area in only one visit.
We went to kuldiha in the evening which is 3.5 kilometers from this camp. There the forest department spreads salt. The deers like to lick this salt and the visitors are most likely to see deer here. We did see two deers. We returned to our camp through a circuitous route as per the guidance of a staff at kuldiha.
In the morning we went to jodachua which is around 7 kms. from the camp. This place has a forest guest house. We saw a group of bisons near this place. Then we went to rissia dam and then returned this camp.
We were able to see large squirrels, wild hens in this forest. We didn't see elephant but in the night when we were going to sleep we heard the roar of elephants which were near rissia dam which is merely 100 meters from this camp.

An place where one can unwind completely, absolute silence, absolute tranquility, absolutely inside the forest area, completely separated from the city life. No gadgets , no network and no electricity...

Awesome place to stay for days for complete mental peace.

Best place to enjoy nature and connect with. No mobile connection and hence very peaceful. Well maintained by local staff and helpful to guide and show the place. Facilities are well maintained and food is also ok given it is in the middle of the jungle.

If you want to enjoy the isolation, loneliness mostly out of the grid...visit Kuldiha, Please don't expect wild life will be your doorstep,just enjoy the sound of nature......online booking only ...best to take your own car and visit the jungle in the very fast morning...take your own flashlight 🔦..if you are staying inside the camp be careful from bugs 🐛..rest food is good ..but any kind of meat 🍖is not allowed...enjoy ..
