Dukh Harani Temple

One of the Ashtadasa Maha Shakti-peeths was formed at Gaya on the banks of the river ‘falgu’ in Bihar, India as ‘Mangala Gauri Mandir’ or ‘Sarvamangala Devi Peetha’ (Benevolence to All). Many ancient Hindu scriptures like ‘Padma Puranam’, ‘Vayu Puranam’, ‘Agni Puranam’, ‘Sri Devi Bhagwat Puranam’ and ‘Markandeya Puranam’ are engraved with ‘Mangala Gauri Temple’ and it is also mentioned in tantric works. According to historical records, this temple was established in the 15th century (1459 AD).

It's a very holy place for me and every Hindu. Jai maa Dukharni.

I had been hearing the name since my childhood. Once upon a time when I grow older, I got a chance to see the temple. the temple by really very ancient and historical. As the name reveals, this Temple obliterates all The Sorrows and worries of humans. this temple is located on the main road To Gaya junction. the area is very crowded and isn't to far from Tower Chauk. The only Cons is the there is no parking space near the temple.
