Hotel Lake View Bilaspur

It was a delightful experience staying at the lake view for a couple of nights, even though the amenities were limited owing to age of the property, the hospitality of the staff made up for it. The food was homely and tasty, location is absolutely fabulous with view of the river and temple from balcony.. just a km from bus stand /market, convinient in that sense as well.

Excellent location. Right on the highway. Spacious lake facing rooms. Food and service is also good. Ample parking space.

I met there at Reception Deepak Chandel. He provides us with excellent hospitality. He is a hidden gem there for Himachal Tourism.

Stopped here on the way to Manali for lunch. Excellent stop. Had a very homely lunch. This place has an amazing lake view just as the name suggets. There is a famous temple nearby if one has time for it. Clean bathroom.

Service was neither quick nor slow but the waiter was courteous and kind.

Hotel location is very best, room service is also excellent. Lake view is also good ...

But room are little much expensive

I mostly stop here for tea n snacks to get a good view of the lake. It's just beautiful

This place is maintained by Himachal Tourism so is clean n decent. Staff is local n good.

Food i will say is average.

Overall a good place to stay over or eat in the restaurant... Room with a view place.

We were hunting for a place with clean washrooms enroute to Manali and this was a saviour. We ordered french fries and paneer pakoda voluntarily in exchange for using their facilities and both tasted good. They also had a bar and we were tempted but avoided as we still had to drive a long way.

Whenever passing from this city, I and my family always take a stop here. That’s because it is venture of hptdc and that it offers beautiful views of the river and some drowned temples.
The food is also good, washrooms are clean.

The location is perfect to stay for a night while going from Chandigarh/Delhi to Manali. The views from the hotel is awesome. The food is also tasty. The service is also quick and good. Although the price of food items is on a higher side. Ample parking space is there. Good place to stop for breakfast or lunch also.

Situated on the banks of Sutlej river, it provides cinematic sunset views. The rooms are spacious with cosy chairs which gives you a spectacular view from the balcony. The weather is awesome, and non air conditioned rooms are comfortable as well during summers. The food is good, although a bit pricey. Room service is prompt and courteous. One thing to be careful about is there are lots of monkeys nearby, so don't leave your balcony door open especially if you are staying in ground floor. There's a large parking space available as well. There's a bar as well and dining hall attached to the reception!

It's govt hotel, but strongly recommend even then who are looking for 5 star catagory.
Charges are very nominal and facilities/service/hospitality are like more then expectations.

Natural view from the room balcony is fantastic..

Very beautiful place to have a break and have meals. They have a patio sitting adjacent to their restaurant where you can sit and enjoy the beautiful view of govind Sagar Lake . This place is owned and operated by Himachal Pradesh Tourism Development corporation . The only issue is that they follow the meal timings and if any traveller is having a break journey lets say at hi tea time they will only serve few snacks but will not serve main course.

The property is at an amazing location, with a panoramic view of the Gobind Sagar Lake. You wont be able to take your eyes of the view for hours. The hotel is overall nice, the food is good except for the Indian main course.

A good place, with great views of the Bilaspur Lake from the restaurant windows. I wish their balcony were a bit larger! A good place to sit in the sun and have breakfast or lunch during the winters!

Very good place to hang around on the way to Mandi, Kullu Manali or even Leh from Anandpur Sahib or Kiratpur Sahib it's situated in Bilaspur Mandi Highway on the Road but Main Attraction is it's View from balcony which is totally awesome lake of Bilaspur with Lush Green Spreaded Garden Like Sonmarg totally Divine Experiences
