Lateef Shah Dam, Chakia

Amazing picnic spot, if u want to go with family or friends. Unfortunately didn't get to witness the waterfall but still the weather was very pleasant the day i visited and the scenery was breathtaking beautiful. It would be much more peaceful if u visit at early hours.

Do visit during the rainy season, it was the most scenic beauty I had ever seen. The water was falling so powerfully that the sound of it and the mist of it was very ravishing. Photography wise also, this place is too good👌🏻❤

Osm Place To Visit Here In Rainy Season.
Without water There is no Enjoyment bcoz you see only stones and Grass .
In Rainy Season You look the osm scenary and loved with this place .
Here a Mosque where Muslims Reads Namazz And Pray. Ans Also Latiif Saah Makbara Here you visitt .
This place is so Cool and Nyc .

Best season - July - September

Keep min. 5-6 hrs handy( 1.5x2 hrs traveling + 3hrs site seen)

Best mode of transport - personal 2 wheeler ( you'll enjoy the beauty of nature and surrounding vegetation)

You can enjoy with family, baath in the water, prepare & have lunch with family/friends.

Good spot for singles, couples, family, friends.

Couple of small snack's shops (not much options available during off season, but decent options during rainy season)

There are two sides of Dam - Masjid side & Dargah side. Dargah side is more peaceful and calm place. ( In rainy season you need to decide before starting the journey, coz joining path is flooded by dam water and the other path is way to far - around 5 KM)

If it is sunny day, cary a small tent, shade, umbrella (coz lack of shady tree near Dam and near water fall).

Had a nice stop over at the dam while returning back to Varanasi from Raj Dari. The scenic view of the evening sky and the cool December air blended together so well to make for a soothing break.

Latif-Shah Dam — One of the oldest dams in India, Latif-Shah was completed in 1921; it is built on the river Karm-nasha. The reservoir created by the dam is used mainly for irrigation and human consumption.

Aww.🤩. can't describe . Loved🥰 it so much. Awesome place to chill, enjoy and feel free😎 . It is better to travel this place after rain..🌩 otherwise you might lost the chance to see the waterfall🌊 .. the river is a rainwater river.. in rainy season the look becomes so attractive.

It was a fabulous visit ....one of the best damn i have ever visit ...the rocks the watefall ....a small lake ....beautiful mountain peaks and a lovely weather ....just a heaven for a peace loving mind.....if you are in a search of calm and peace just go there and spend just half'n hour trust me the nature will take you to the peace zone and the waterfall will help you to relax the noise of your mind.

It's a natural beauty place along with islamic religion center..

Best place to chill with family and friends. I visited there on sunday and there are lots of crowds so we decided to make plan on the opposite side of Dam.. Actually my friend is local of chakia so he well known all the places there.. We did fun alot.
