This is my village... Tho the scenery is kinda aesthetic and a worth watching place but day by day its beauty is rotting due to pollution... Plus so many construction work is required like bridges, roads and bla bla bla...

Its really amazing and beautiful canal. I have live in barki which is situated at the bank of b.r.b canal. I have visited many time

Before 30 years it was v nice and clean area but now it is not
I want it should be clear and clean

Bombawala Ravi Bedian Depalpur canal is link canal originating from head Marala River Chenab and at a small village Bombawala started flowing towards south east and fall in river Ravi near Bado Malhi Indo Pak border area. From here it streches its shores towrds south and meet Lahore at Bedian. This was the same place where 1965 war was fought at Lahore theatre. From Bedian BRB moves towards Depalpur a tehsil of Okara and make it BRBD and joined river Sutlej which irrigate the southern punjab lands.

I Can Not Find The Answer Of My Question That How This Canal Crosses Ravi Below Or Above The River Secondly Ican Not My Vllage Ugoo Chak Who Has Afamous Fall OnIt Called Uggoo Chak Fall Please Help

BRB canal is one of a great place for the people of Lahore for picnic, although not really a managed place for picnic but that is what make it more natural, its banks are full of trees, grasses and shrubs, its purely wild, u can even find rare birds in abundance which are hard to find in city, u can enjoy cool breeze with natural scenery. Love fishing...try your luck for some delicious species of carp family but BEWARE of swimming because the canal is very deep and its prohibited or if you cant resist then better ask someone local who can guide you to safer side of the bank to swim

It's the Historic BRB Canal famous for 1965 Indo-Pak War. The Canal which passes through the Lahore City.

Its water is very cold. It is a very dangerous canal that killed a lot of people. People still do not hawk in the swimming
