One of the beautiful places in bhuj. Having parking facilities and there is many more basic facilities like clean drinking water, waiting area with seating arrangement, hygiene washroom. It is the only university in Kachchh district. It is established in 2003 and it is named after freedom fighter Krantiguru Shyamji Krishna Verma. There are more than 30 colleges and institutes under the KSKV Kachchh University. There are Different 10 departments in this university. One big campus covered with beautiful trees. Its provides best education with practical knowledge. Teachers are very good and educated. There are separate hostel for girls and boys. One nice canteen. There is one big play ground just behind the main building. There is one bank and ATM at the entrance gate of university. It is located in the quiet place thats helps students to concentrate on study. Best university.

Surely a heaven. A beautiful place to be at. The campus is now developed and hence looks really good. Education wise also, its a better place to be at.

University in really very good... But there's a ma'am... Shah D I don't like her behavior... She is really very rude to students... And she cannot behave like this...

HistoryEdit

Colleges in the Kutch district were regulated under the Gujarat University till 2003. However, following the development drive post 2001 Gujarat earthquake, the government of Gujarat decided to provide a separate university for the region of Kachchh.[2] The Krantiguru Shyamji Krishna Verma Kachchh University Act was published in the government Gazette in March 2003.[3]

The foundation stone for the building was laid on 24 September 2004. The construction work for the administrative blocks, four faculty blocks, library, computer building, guest house, hostels was estimated at 35 crores (funded by Gujarat State). The Kachchh University started its administrative and academic activity at the new developing campus in 2007.

The university started with 10 colleges in 2004, having 44 colleges with more than 20,000 students and nearly 250 teachers working in the faculties of Arts, Commerce, Science, Education, Law, Technology including Engineering and Pharmacy
