Royal Guest House, Bhuj

This is a nice guesthouse well located in the city. The rooms have what you need. The staff are very helpful, friendly and knowledgeable about things to do in the area. They can help to arrange transportation and provide written information about the sights which is very handy! They are flexible and willing to offer help and services when you need anything. Recommended!

We intented to stay one night, but extended to 3 nights. The rooms and the whole compound is very clean and safe.
The staff was extremely friendly and welcoming, and they speak fluent English.
Location is good in the centre of the old city. We fully enjoyed our stay. Highly recommended!

I stayed here in dormitory. Everything is excellent. But, if anybody want to stay here in dormitory they must carry a water bottle with them as they don't provide room service for drinking water in dormitory. Drinking water is available their but it's self service.

It was my second stay at Royal guesthouse and the location and services at the guesthouse are absolutely lovely. The owner is very kind and accommodating and gives wonderful suggestions regarding travel and helping you with reliable drivers and vehicle to roam ard tourist places in Bhuj and Rann of Kutch.
Any minute problem, if any, are solved immediately. This is the reason many foreigners also stay here. Being in old part of Bhuj the prag mahal and the market is just walkable distance from the stay. Also the Bhuj train station is hardly 2.5 km.
Overall a very safe and a budget friendly stay. Would recommend to everyone.

The rooms are nice and clean but what really sets this guesthouse apart from others is the amazing service and fantastic staff. They provide you with every assistance you can ask for, they will arrange for tours and tickets if you ask them but were never pushy.

We had an excellent stay here!! The staff was very welcoming and helpful. The rooms are clean, with window, fan and A/C, hot shower, towels and toilet paper. We stayed in a double room with private bathroom but the dorms also look good. They also have cold drinkable water to refill your bottle. Location is perfect if you want to be in the center of Bhuj. We definitely recommend it!!!

This place is so out of the box, considering the actual surroundings and the area it is in. But anyway, this is one of the best places to stay at in Bhuj, especially if you're a solo traveller. But even if you are travelling in a group or with family, they have rooms suitable for that requirement too. The rooms here are majorly dorm rooms with 8 beds, with adequate space. Each bed has a box safe under it for keeping luggage. Separate chargeing spots next to the bed are also available.
Here's the best part about the place. You're staying in a dorm and pay for a single bed. The bed is comfortable with neat and clean linen. There are all facilities of a modern hotel available and you don't get ripped off for the quality of service and arrangements that you get!!
Another great feature of staying here is, that you can order food to your bed. The food that they serve is delicious. A lot of variety from among burgers, sandwiches and indian food is available. And you can be comfortable in your bed while eating. I would rate this place 5/5 for the amazing facility.
Last but not the least, there are common toilets and bathing areas for the people who stay in dorm. But the toilets are really clean and neat. You'll not mind using them one bit. Western seat is also available for those who prefer them.
Points to keep in mind though, they don't provide soap and towels. Please carry your own if you plan on staying!

I was not expecting to find such good dorm beds in Kutch for such a good price. I showed up expecting to spend 1 night and after touring Kutch, I came back for 4 more night because I enjoyed it so much. Was able to catch up on some things while also having fun.

The room and beds are comfortable, and all facilities are the cleanest I've seen in India. There is a nice open rooftop patio with a cover to keep out the sun.

The location is great. The market starts just down the street and good food is only a couple minutes walk away (they also will order food for you for what I believe is cost only). It's also walking distance to many of the attractions like the museums/palaces and temples.

The best part is the people. The staff is super nice and helpful never trying to sell us anything - just providing it if we asked. They really know the city and Kutch plus speak terrific English. And I really enjoyed the other guests - lots of laughs and chill vibe.

Our stay at this hotel was absolutely amazing and we had a very comfortable stay here. The owner Mr. Aadil is very humble and he is always ready to help his guests. One should consider this hotel for staying in bhuj.

Good location, cheap and clean hotel. Sarif who manages the hotel is super friendly and will arrange trips in Bhuj with amazing staff - shout out to Shyam, local guide, and Hakim, driver who were the best to show me around the city. I wanted to discover the textile of Bhuj and got to discover many communities specialized in block printing, weaving... Shyam shared a lot of the communities history along with being super funny and caring. I spent 2 amazing days in Bhuj that wouldn't have been the same without staying at this hotel. I highly recommend !!

How to reach: take an auto from the bus stand or railway station (should cost between 30-70₹ depending on the time of the day).
About the place: I booked a bed in an 8 bed dormitory. The dorm is very neat and maintained well. Each bed comes with a locker under it which can be locked. There is a common TV and fans. There is a lack of natural light inside, but it is lighted well. The common toilets and bathrooms are on the top floor and they are clean. There is a sit out balcony on the top floor where there are chairs and tables. The smoking area is here. The owner and staff are very friendly and will guide you on how to travel around and places to visit. It is located near the market and so the approach road might not be very clean and you will find cows and other animals. Once you get out to the main road you will find multiple options for food
Overall good value for money

If you are looking for a budget friendly stay in Bhuj and also wish the place to have all the necessary amenities then this is the right place for you. I was a solo traveler and I would say it is very safe. You might have to walk a few steps from the main road but that's truly not much to worry about. They also guide you in planning your itinerary in and around Bhuj. They are quite humble and helpful. You have to order your food using either Zomato or swiggy but you can ask for breakfast which is also very cheap and comes in good taste and quantity. The location of the guest house is also very convinient. Overall I had a pleasant stay there.

Stayed at their dormitory accomodation. Wonderful place to stay if you are visiting Kutch - clean, hygienic and value for money. Located in Bhuj city - car/scooter rentals and restaurants nearby. Owner is very friendly and helped out in planning my tour itinerary. They have hotel room accomodation as well. Would definitely recommend if you are a solo backpacker.

we've stayed here for 4 nights, very clean room, ac works great. Sharif and his staff are very helpful and kind. great service, great chai, great recommendations for tours of the erae (go for a tour with Sham). we've enjoyed our stay and recommend it strongly. enjoy!

Nice Service and Room Pure clean

Stayed at this hotel due to location in the hart of Bhuj was told it was a guest house but on arrival found that it was better than any other hotels in Bhuj even its classed as a guesthouse .
The staff were great and very helpful
With a lot of local knowledge. The food was very tasty . Would highly recommend to others and will definitely stay again when going to Bhuj .
To mr Mistry and the staff keep up the good and hard work to keep this so called guesthouse In a highly clean and hygiene conditions
But I still class this as a hotel and not a guesthouse

Just in love with thos place .Mr. Aadil is very decent and humble person .The hotel staff is very helpfull and very polite.The rooms are so good and well maintained .The ceramics and tiles used are so highly maintained as compared to other hotels and toilet bathrooms are also so good . One time you should visit.
