Pikira Eco Camp, Boko

Had been planning to visit this place for some time and finally could make it this weekend. We were looking for a short break and an adventurous trip different from the usual vacation. A mesmerising view straight out of a movie. At the camp, the tents provided were clean, comfortable and airy and the washrooms quite maintained, considering the rough terrain. Food was quite homely and good. The evening bonfire around the camp was the best part and we had one of the best time there. The place is awesome and ideal short trip for friends and families alike, Hope to visit again very soon...!!!!!

Here are some insights.
If you go by car you can park it in a place then you have to cross a river (waist height water during winter so, consult with the owner if you are visiting in summer). Then you have to climb a 100 Mt or so. You will have , tents and matters, hammock, bonfire, toilets, continuous water supply (river water i guess). It's a plastic free environment, you have to bring your booz and all as there is no shop nearby. We reached during evening. Have been offered, snacks, dinner and lunch. You can go for a short trecking for better view in the morning. There are no wild animals or something like that. Had a great time.. services, food , ambience all are A+.1500 per person is really a good deal. Recommended.

One of my best vacay memories of 2021..Pikira Eco camp is 1 hour distance from Guwahati.. Must visit to experience nature, food, serenity in pure form.. Managed by three enthusiastic friendly people..I was spellbound by their hospitality.. Will visit again very soon😊😊

One of the best camping place i have ever been to. Surrounded by mountains and natural sources of water.! If you are from assam or Ghy must visit this place. Special thanks for Doctor and Bhaskar for their hospitality! Returned with so much memories! All the best for their future.

It was a wonderful experience . A lil hard to locate but once you reach you get the perfect camping vibes. Had some wonder memories like the late night hiking 🙊

I have been to many eco camps in Assam.. but Pikira Eco Camp was undoubtedly the best.. Place is quaint, natural , beautiful... the owner Dr. Sangma is a really grest host..I am going back soon..

It's an ideal place to camp if you want to get away from city noises and experience living in the middle of a forest. If that's not your thing, then the food alone is gonna be worth the trip. The service is excellent too. Definitely a place to recommend your friends.

It is a very good place to spend quality time with friends and families. Surrounding with hills, plants and all natural beauty. We 3 friends has enjoyed the evening with bonfire, karaoke music & snack of smoked pork/chicken.
Next day we went for tracking the nearby hills and enjoyed a lot with a bath at the nearby river of crystal clear water.
Overall it's a fabulous trip of 2 days at Pikira Eco camp and I suggest people's to visit the Eco camp and enjoy your time with the nature.

Located in the midst of the Meghalayan hills , this budding eco camp is a lovely escape into the scenic beauty of nature. The staff is genuinely hospitable and they see to all your requirements during the stay. Do visit, if you ever get the opportunity.

We spent whole day and night at the camping site. It's a wonderful place surrounded by hills and jungle. It was really a very exciting experience for me to explore the hills, swimming in the river, enjoying the cold winter in front of the bonfire with a cup of tea in one hand and barbeque on the other hand. A must visit camping site for the camping enthusiasts. Thanks Team Pikira Eco Camp for the unforgettable moments.

Wonderful place to spend nights & days...must visit

I had a good time and Bhaskar has been an awesome host. We enjoyed the calmness and serene location of the camp, away from the hustle bustle of the city.

A hustle free place where one can closely get connected with mother natures beauty, natural earthly scent, birds chirping as the sun goes down and crickets singing whole night. Come and explore the unexplored. If you want to know how lower Assam villages are like, this place will tell you more.

If you want to experience panoromic view of nautre then Pikira Eco Camp is the place for you.

Its located 12kms from Boko surrounding hills & natural springs. We were woken up by birds clippings which is something you would never experience in the cities. Also they provide complementary Chicken BBQ its somethings they prepare with specially homemade spice mix. Lip smacking good food. We paid just 2500 for two persons totally worthy.
