It is hundreds of years old temple of the Goddess named Ichchhadevi mata. Ichchha means desire and it is belief of many generations that if anyone worships this Goddess with pure mind and soul, She fulfills his or her desires for sure. This is a long way belief. As it is sustained for hundreds of years, it must be true ! Don't you think so ? Your Yes or No, makes no difference ! Mass people believe it since long past, present and will in future also !!

In the days of Navaratri festival, a great divine and holy atmosphere can be experienced in the early morning, before Sunrise. It can not be expressed in words.

Few years ago, the surrounding area was used to be full of dirt and bad smell; but thanks to the Swachchhata Abhiyan conducted by the National Government, some good effect is created. Now that dirt and smell is not that much surrounding the holy and divine premises of the temple.

I know two places of iccha devi mata.1st in icchapur Madhya Pradesh and second in jalgaon iccha devi chowk.she is kuldevat of our family.we go every year to icchapur.it is famous place and place in mountain's.
