Kalathil Lake Resort

Very well designed resort, with direct lake access. Very picturesque location. Pedal boating inside resort canal seems to be a popular activity. Food is decent. Good service. Great for day use or weekend stay.

I had the pleasure of visiting this exquisite resort today, and I must say, it was an incredibly soothing experience. The entire resort exudes a sense of tranquility and serenity, making it a feast for the eyes. One of the standout features of this resort is the way the rooms are designed. They seamlessly extend towards a beautifully created small lake, providing a unique and picturesque setting for guests to enjoy.

What makes this resort even more special is its proximity to an original lake. The resort property is situated nearby, offering guests the opportunity to immerse themselves in the natural beauty of the surroundings. To top it all off, the resort boasts its own houseboat, which is available for guests to use. This allows for a truly enchanting experience on the water, adding a touch of luxury and adventure to the stay.

The customer service at the resort is commendable. The staff members are not only friendly and attentive, but they also demonstrate a high level of care towards guests. I personally witnessed a guard being extra protective when a child was riding a bicycle near the lake, ensuring their safety and well-being. It was heartening to see such dedication and attentiveness from the resort staff.

Went for a team outing here and had an absolute blast. Limited outdoor activity space but we planned the activities which did not require much space and it went well..Pedal Boat,Small Snake Boat facilities were excellent. Food was ok but the ambience overpowered it. There are many floating rooms which we did not get a chance to explore

Awesome place to visit and stay. Very good rooms, neat and clean. Beautiful view. Staffs were very friendly and polite. There are water activities and indoor games in the resort which can be used by the guests. Atleast two days would give a good experience. Food is very delicious and hygienic. Overall, a must visit place for couples/family. I would have given ten stars if there were ten.

We had been there for one night Feb 10th. It was a wonderful stay with my friend's family. Amazing well maintained premises. Location also Amazing. Good service. I strongly recommend for families because it has got lots of play options for the children.

Property is awesome. Plenty of amenities to enjoy for all age group : both indoor and outdoor games. Lake facing pool. Cycles to go around the property. Different types of boats to row in the pool. Food is also good. An ideal place for families to hang out.

We had a memorable day. Their service is very good. I recommend to all, those want to spend or have peaceful and happy time with family and loved ones.

This resort have a good ambiance surrounded with a beautiful lake. Rooms were very neat and clean. Service and the food also good. Especially the fish curry …..it was so delicious….every staff keeps smile to their each and every guest. Nice to stay here.

Waterside room is not good because of water in Lake is too dirty.

Restaurant food is tasty.
Try their chole bhature in breakfast. It's too tasty.

They also provide fresh fruit juice and cut fruit also.

Last minute booking from my end. Got good reviews from my family so thought of giving it a try. Was pleasantly surprised to see the cottages inside the water . At reception they told us about all the activities available for free and paid. There are lots of activities available for kids especially. There are cycles available, swings, slides, trampoline etc. There are paddle boats and row boats also which is available on first cum serve basis. A separate section for indoor games which I couldn’t explore much. There is enough space inside the resort to go for a walk or cycle ride. There is swimming pool adjacent to the lake. The restaurant is also great and can host parties as well. Morning breakfast was included in our package and it was buffet breakfast. Coming back to the cottages, they are almost inside the water in a very large pool or pond. There are plenty of fishes in the pool and balconies of cottages face the pool so you can have an amazing view and also watch the fishes swimming by. The amenities provided are amble and staff is very courteous and friendly. You can easily spend a day or two to relax with your family here. There is enough parking space and the location is slightly off grid and that makes it a calm and peaceful. Wedding parties or for that matter corporate team outings all can be planned at this resort. Fish feeding and fishing was mentioned in the activities, but we couldn’t find time for that. In the paid activities, houseboat is included. Overall we had a wonderful family outing. The place is located in a serene ambience with greenery all around. It is on the banks of the backwaters. Boating facilities are available. Lots of other entertainments have been arranged including indoor games, cycling, pool, etc. There is also a basic ayurvedic rejuvenation centre. Rooms are individual cottages. Duplex cottages are also available.

Excellent place if you want a relaxing weekend just outside Cochin City. Great ambience, good food and awesome service. Lot of fun activities for the kids. Had a great time ❤❤
