My collage...was a self financing collage under MG university. .....Now it runs under Kerala health university with new name ( CENTRE FOR PROFFESIONALS AND ADVANCED STUDIES )

Proud to say that am a former student of SME. I studied there when the institution was running by MG university. The first self financing college in India. I could study as a professional meanwhile i could enjoy there as an arts college

I completed BScMLT from this college.I was in Second Batch ie 1994 to 1999. At that time semester fee was Rs.8000( For Six months).Total Semesters were 8.so total fee was 8000X8= 64000. We studied very hard to pass the examinations. Because of not much infrastructure we studied ourselves with limited facilities ,but passed the final examination without losing the year. But external examiners for BScMLT were very bad in their attitude towards us. They always try to fail us in exams.( remember no infrastructure provided!!!)There was harassment from faculty sides but we crossed all the obstacles without making publicity in Media.After that I go for higher studies ie MScMLT . Currently employed as A Medical Lab Technologist in Government Service,UAE since 2007.

Now college name change to CENTRE FOR PROFESSIONAL AND ADVANCE STDIES(CPAS)under KHUS

B M R T ഇപ്പോഴത്തെ bsc M R T 1994-99 batch.(2 nd batch)കുറച്ചു പേരുടെ നെഗറ്റീവ് comments കണ്ടു.അവിടെ പഠിച്ച ആരെങ്കിലും ഒന്നും ആകാതെ ഇരുന്നിട്ടുണ്ടോ. ഇരുപതു വർഷം മുന്നേ പഠിച്ച എനിക്ക് എന്നും അഭിമാനമേ ഉള്ളു. നമ്മുടെ ഇട്ടി സോമൻ sir നേയും അന്നമ്മ പൗൾ മാഡം തിനെയും, mathew സർ നേയും,രഘു സർ നേയും,jugan സർ നേയും എപ്പോഴും ബഹുമാനത്തോടെ ഓർക്കുന്നു.അവിടെ പഠിച്ചവർ ലോകത്തു എല്ലാ ഭാഗങ്ങളിലും നല്ല നിലയിൽ പണി എടുക്കുന്നു. ഈ കണ്ട വലിയ building ഇൽ ഇരിക്കാനുള്ള ഭാഗ്യം പോലും ഇല്ലായിരുന്നു.അന്ന് നടന്ന സമരങ്ങളും ചെറുതല്ല.എന്നിട്ടു പോലും ഒരു കുഴപ്പവും ഉണ്ടായില്ല.
