Vazhappully Sree Rajarajeswari Temple

The main deity is Sri Rajarajeswary Devi. One of the Gandharva sub-deity temples in Kerala. Gandharvarajan is deitified in this temple. Makarappathu is the prominent festival for celebration. This is a temple of VAZHAPPULLY family. There is participation of the local people assuming the importance of a local prominent temple.

We will love the place. Lot of trees,birds, calm and quiet atmosphere. A/C rooms available at very reasonable rate. Can stay there and visit nearby temples and attractive tourist destinations. Good selection for mental relaxation.

This temple is situated towards the west of Edamuttom in Thrissur District, Kerala State, India.
Due to the presence of the supreme soul of Goddess Bhadrakali,  in olden days devotees sacrificed chicken and goat to this temple as offerings. Later in Malayalam Year 1122 Edavam month (1947, May) a beautiful Panchaloha idol of Sri Rajarajeswari was reinstalled as the main deity by Sri. Narasimha Swamikal, the first disciple of Sri Narayana Guru.
