It is one of the big, beautiful and historical temple of Peruvanam village. The main Deity is Bhoomi Devi. It is one of the major temple which have very much importance in peruvanam-arattupuzha pooram. Bhoomi Puja and Thiruvona Puja are very special here. Thiruvona Puja is doing for brides and grooms.

The temple famous for Othoottu,andVaram which are special functions connected with studying and practing vedam along with Devi bhajan. Speciality quotable is no usage other than coconut oil is never here. The deity can be seen straightly from half k.m away.Temple is facing west.Prior to land reforms act & rule paddy of 3000 was available as Patton. perumanam arattupuzha, poorams Cherppil bhagavathy has some special importance also. First flaghoisting 28days before and Aswath purappad is here.

Very old temple with the diety being Bhoomi Devi, those girls who find difficulty in finding a partner can perform some rituals to get married soon..... Also people with issues related to buying n selling of land come from far off places to make offerings to get a good deal.....

Beautiful temple and the goddess is with a smiling face. She is considered as Bhudevi, the consort of Lord Vishnu. During the Arattupuzha pooram, she is one among the main diety who participate and during kootiezhunallippu, she stands on the right side of Thriprayar thevar with Urakathamma thiruvadi who is sridevi stands on left side of thevar with chathakudam Shasta who accompanies urkathamma.

My first time visit...Bhoomi Devi...belief is that all property related issues will be solved if you do bhoomi Pooja here .
