The ruins and remains of a Heritage Kothi built by the British resident Major Ouseley for the Awadh King Nawab Sadat Ali Khan around 1800 in the English Baroque style architecture. Later, some additions were made during the reign of King Nasir uddin Haider in the 1830s.

This place is huge.
This architectural beauty was constructed in 1700 century & this was besically a hunting house for the Britishers. This was used as holiday home for the Britishers who came to India
The place is under Archeological survey of India & things like photography & videography is not allowed until you have permissions to shoot here.

Its a beautiful park with two outstanding colonial era structures constructed by British in 1800s. Its a ASI protected site and very important heritage structure. Its entry is free. Usually a quiet place and used by love birds mostly or photography. Worth a visit if you are heritage enthusiast.

Dilkusha used to be the hunting rest house for Nawabs and later for British officers. The place is very calm and despite being in the centre of the city seems like far away. No wonder they choose the place for resting after an exhausting hunting spree.

this is remains of a house built around 1800 by s British resident friend of Nawab Saadat Ali Khan. During India’s freedom movement in 1857 it was captured by Indians and later regained by British but only after it took heavy shelling. Today only few towers, external walls and gardens remain. Not much people come here. youngsters seems to be unaware of this kothi

In 1857 the house was held by Indian insurgents and was forcibly recaptured by British forces under the instructions of British commander-in-chief, Sir Colin Campbell.
Today the gardens are visited by few people. It has been surmised that the reason may be the lack of publicity
