Ambaji, a renowned pilgrimage site in Gujarat, India, sits on the border of Gujarat and Rajasthan near Abu Road. It's always bustling with devotees, particularly on Purnima days. The original seat of Ambaji Mata is atop Gabbar hill in the town. Each year, a significant number of devotees flock to the temple, with a particularly large mela held on Bhadarvi Purnima (full moon day).

Very good place, peaceful and little crowd will be there. Must visit once and go to Gabbar also. Ropeway is available at Rs-125 per person.

This Shaktipeeth is 2nd after the one we have in Haridwar..it's so beautifully built that I was awestruck...surrounded by hills we witness a beautiful sunrise and sunset both from here...
Entire temple complalex is built in marble...and speciality I felt is marble didn't turn hot even during afternoon as compared to the cemented floor we covered for some distance from the parking...

One of the most grand Temple I have ever seen. From entrance to exit everything is well organised.

Temple mukht, I think was in gold, not sure about it, but it was looking too beautiful. There is also a small DARBAR inside temple premises, where it is believed to be MATAJI KI BETHAK.

One should visit this temple as well as the MATAJI KI JYOT near this temple which is situated on hill top and has a ropeway, which is also reasonably priced.

My suggestion is avoid going during public holidays or navratri. It's too crowded and you won't be able to enjoy the beauty of this place.

Pure divine energy. This place is a power house of energy, just felt so peaceful. This temple is one of Shakti Peeth temple and dedicated to Mata Shakti.

First visited Gabbar which has 1010 stairs and also available ropeway service at 125/-..
Ambe mataji mandir was very calm and clean place but I will advise to visit Ambaji on non holiday day because vast number of visitors on holiday..

Gabbar darshan on festival is crowded but you can do at noon. We climbed at two o'clock but it was not hot in November. Ropeway was 115 per person

It's always been a great experience visiting it. Very clean and secure place. Evening 6:40 pm is the aarti time and morning 7:30 AM is aarti time. The gates to go in temple.open at 7 am in the morning. Always use the paid parkings else the shop owners will.over change you for the Pooja items..

Goddess Amba Mata temple.. quiet well known and renowned... you might face lil rush as it's always full n devotees are always there..

I would request each and every non-gujarati person to visit here once, just to see How the holy places Can be managed to be so people-friendly, and catering to every need of Darshanarthi...
Even the queue segment in front of temple had fans and coolers at specific distance. Water coolers are placed at every corner so the pilgrims do not hate the waiting.
The security is friendly, and supportive. They have created an open resting area of pilgrims after the darshan! You can just wait there to regroup with your people!
You have free facility to store your bags, wallets, footwear.
This is how things should be managed at such places!

We visited the temple last weekend and had very good darshan. We went morning time and there was no rush at all. Good facility of cellphone and footwear lockers at no charge.

Once you visit u will always fill to visit it again u will love the location and Gabbar Hill is hardly 4km from Shaktipeeth its also a beautiful divine place and one of the main shaktipeeth.
