Kala Raksha is an invaluable platform where artisans can share their work and be appreciated for the effort and skill that goes into every work of art. Thanks to the organisation, artisans receive the recognition they deserve, and visitors gain new insights into the work of artisans. Ultimately, this appreciation of art and craftsmanship deepens an understanding of the part they play in our society, from the past to the present.

Superbly Preserved history of fabric of kutch. A must visit to this place and spend enough time to. Know around, locals and managers are more then. Welcome to talk about the history, spend time in knowing all that, its time capsule, the more u wait the more u dig in history. Its little costly, but a hardwork can be seen, so. Do support them. In ur own way and ur own budgets.

Kala Raksha creates clothing that is not only aesthetically pleasing, but also has a social conscience. Their stories of art and craftsmanship are expressed through their vibrant and unique designs, each crafted by master craftsmen who have perfected the artisanal techniques of centuries old traditions. They work closely with Embroidery Artisans

This is an NGO aimed at promoting the local handicrafts, particularly embriodery. It's an excellent initiative and has received recognition from UNESCO as well. It is an excellent platform for skilled artisans who find themselves unable to find employment. A visit to this place will leave you flabbergasted, simply to learn about the various types/methods of doing embroidery!

Handicraft and embroidery at its best. This place has a small Musium too to showcase and preserve this losing art. If you want to own something genuinely hand made, buy it from this place.
