Soloka Dare (Baroigaon Waterfall)

Located at Baroigaon near Chandubi Lake, this beautiful waterfall is nestled in the mid of nature.
On the day of our visit, the spot was almost empty so had a great time at the waterfall and the natural surroundings.
One can also explore the nearby village and get the feeling of the simple rural life.
A good place for an outing.

A easily accessible water falls nearly 1 km from Rani Khamar picnic spot. You can also take bath. Changing room, clean toilet and affordable parking available. Local women sold seasonal locally available fruits and vegetables at reasonable rate near the falls. Entry fee is also reasonable.

It is a very nice place to visit with family and friends. A good picnic spot

A quick weekend getaway during monsoon. Located near chandubi. The waterfall and the beautiful little villages along with paddy fields are a delight to the tired eyes.Take your swimwear and towles for a fresh bath.
Ticket : ₹10 Per person
Try buying food items, It's like a dozen of bananas 🍌 for ₹20 Only. ( Very very Cheap)
And many more local items are also available

I will say you to visit this place on weekdays if possible, other on weekends the place is very crowded

Visiting this during winters was really great. We got to sit and relax and watch the waterfalls. You need good shoes to be able to get near the waterfalls as it is slippery. Its very small so can be conjusted when there is a crowd. Overall its worth going.

There are no food stalls nearby especially in the early hours. But one can find local eateries inside the villages who offer home-style rabha cuisines- absolutely lips-smacking. Visitors are requested not to litter the places. Please bring minimal plastics or dispose them off properly.

Feels like home because Rani is my home and it's nearby ❤ Can't even count on how many times I went there like for every Season 😀 So yes you must visit 😉

located at Baregaon in Kamrup and can be reached after a one and a half hour drive from Guwahati City. The famous Chandubi lake is just 10 kms.

A scenic waterfall near to Chandubi Lake. There are different types of tribes present in the village. They have also made local stalls where you can get to eat light foods. A must visit pleasant place.

One of the most beautiful waterfall in Assam. Hats off to the locals they have maintained the area with so much care and love. The road is very beautiful with scenic view all around. One of the best thing is that the youth came forward to protect their treasure. They are also very strict while maintaining the cleanliness, picnic and alcohol consumption is totally banned.

PS:
1.Try to download offline map as network issues are there and it will be touch to get to the location.
2. The roads from Guwahati to Chandubi is under construction so be prepared to get some off-roading experiences.

It is absolutely sooooooooo sooo sooo beautiful AWESOME place to hangout with ur friends. We visited that place on 5th September at near about 12:30pm nd it was already crowded wd lots of people... If u wish to go there dn kindly go early as possible... Road is so narrow. Nd if u reach lately dn u have to walk for a couple of distance like 100 to 500 meter from parking, parking facility is not there. U have to park road side. No Networks r available there so download offline map. Take Mirza Rajapara road cz Rani Road is under construction which is very bad now a days. U have to purchase tickets of rupees 10 per head. Nd one more imp is the food. U have to take food from mirza or from rani... There is no resturant or dhabas nearby, some local people sell Banana, boiled egg, other local fruits, chips etc. Changing room is also available there for ladies. Thnq

This is a hidden gem which is situated near the Meghalaya border. You have to keep on going straight instead of taking the right turns for chandubi. You have to go till Mirza and then check maps for exact location. The road is not good and hence it takes some time to reach the spot. Almost 2hrs. There is ample place for parking on spot. To get to the waterfall you only have to walk a little uneven path which is absolutely fine. There are local women selling homemade things and freshly plucked fruits.

Around 70 kms from Guwahati the place hides it beauty among the vollage of Baroigaon near Chandubi. U love nature go for it. U love spring and enjoy water.. Just go for it. Nothing is available around 5 kms so pack some eateries or hunher wil strike u here too 🤣
