Peaceful place. There is a temple down below. This place is close to the elephant corridor and it is sloth bear habitat too. Be very cautious during dusk and dawn timing. You don't want to be anywhere near any of these animals when they are surprised and agitated.

Must visit place
The power generation plant was started in 1939 by the then Maharaja of Mysore. Till date both the turbines are up n running.
One needs special permission from the KPCL officials to visit this place
