College is situated near to highway and well connected with roads leading to highway. It has separate Girls and Boys hostel and living quarters too. Laboratory facilities are at par with other regional educational institutions. Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam has once visited the college. The college has a museum inside the campus and huge ground. Facilities are clean and classroom are spacious. Infrastructure is good and teachers are very able and learned. The college has an on-campus dairy too. Amazing experience visiting the college.

Janata College Bakewar, Etawah is situated in village Bakewar about 15 km from Etawah city. The college, started as an small school in 1959 it has grown in to a big tree now. It has graduate degree courses in agriculture, science (math, biology, microbiology), commerce and computers. Post graduate courses are conducted in mathematics, zoology and horticulture, industrial chemistry, microbiology, bio-technology and physics. College has excellent professors for each subject.
College has nice building, hostel for boys and girl, audio-visual hall, guest house, besides well equipped laboratories, agricultural farm and dairy to teach students. One year Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Application (PGDCA) is also conducted. The college has the distinction to provide education to lakhs of the village students and is the reason for higher education in the district. College is affiliated to CSJM University, Kanpur.

It is one of the best college of Uttar Pradesh in India. It is also accredited B+ by NAAC. It is one of the only 2 colleges of Uttar Pradesh with B+ accreditation. I am one of the luckiest to be the scholar of this college, post graduating in 2003 in Horticulture stream.

Courses offered are Science, Commerce, Agriculture, PGDCA & Industrial Chemistry.

Being the scholar of this college is honourable for anyone.

Its been more than 16 years since my father is been lecturer in JCB. The premises is very good and full of greenery. All faculty members are very educated and cooperative. All teachers are ready to assist you at any point of time. Other curriculum activities held much often on for various occasions.
