Neelkanth Mahadev Temple

Nilkanth temple is a sacred Hindu place dedicated to Lord Shiva which is located at the top of the devgiri hill surrounded by lush greenery. From the top, you can have a splendid view of the nature and the entire Dausa city. To climb on the hill, there are two paths and a devotee can choose either the steps one or a slop one.
The calm & spiritual atmosphere of the temple will not let you go away from the premises. The chanting of aarti & bhajans by the devotees is an add-on. The carving of the temple is wonderful. While climbing up/down, you can also view the boundaries of the Dausa Fort whereas 2 cannons are visible at the entrance of the Temple. From the back side of the temple, you can enjoy the wonderful moment of rising of sun alongwith cool breeze. I would recommend to visit it early in the morning or evening. Many picturesque spots you will find here.

A few local visitors informed that leopards frequently appear here in the early morning before sunrise and hence either try to go in a group or carry a wooden stick. You can park your vehicle just at the beginning of the steps near BaijNath Mahadev Temple.
Note: Since, no food/snacks shop is available nearby, you can either carry your food packets or have to tolerate your hunger.

It is dedicated to Lord Shiva and is one of the oldest and most revered temples in DAUSA.
Temple is situated amidst the Aravalli mountain range, and the beautiful surroundings add to the serene and spiritual atmosphere of the temple. The architecture of the temple is typical of the medieval era and features intricate carvings and sculptures of various Hindu deities.
It is DAUSA Fort Also, You can see some Boundries of Dausa Fort, Two GUNS are Placed at the Entrance of Temple.

This is the temple of lord Shiva....The temple is located at the hill and has an amazing view of the city from the top...will also feel relaxed and peaceful and also the back side of the temple is a beautiful garden with an amazing view of nature...love the place...हर हर महादेव 🙏

Neelkanth Mahadev Mandir is one of the famous five(Panch Mahadev) Shiva temples of Devnagri Dausa. It was earlier housed in the Dausa Fort Complex but the fort in its original form no longer exists. Earlier there used to be only staircase to go up the hill for darshan but in recent years a walking ramp has been constructed for elderly and those who might find it difficult to climb the stairs. This fort used to be a stronghold of the kachwaha rulers before they shifted their capital to Amber from Dausa. There are two old cannons also placed near the temple gate and a beautiful view of the Dausa town can be seen from the top. Neelkanth Mahadev Mandir in recent years has not been maintained very well and it can become a very attractive tourist place if little attention is paid to its maintenance and preservation by the district administration and authorities.

A very good and tallest temple of mahakal nilkanth shiv mandir in dausa City's Aravali hill. I love this temple and this temples map and Round round road and Great to see from top to bottom. This is a very old temple and I keep coming in it. It is the pride of the city of Dausa. There is also a police post before the temple on the mountain. Its a very attractive tample in dausa.

This temple is on the hill of Devgiri parvat and amazing location. There had always crowd .

Mind blowing place in Rajghar at Alwar .Fully green field and a ancient lord Shiva temple and a beautiful lord bhudha statue.

It's a Hindu temple of lord Shiva. Situated on the Devgiri mountain. The way to go there is most thrilling and adventurous. Must go there.

Neelkanth Mahadev Temple is ancient temple in Dausa City it's a tourist place and fabulous place in this area it is my favourite place
