Gem of a restaurant, in the backwaters near Ashtamudi Lake ans Munroe Island. Wonderful food prepared with great care by 3 fabulous cooks. I cannot stop talking about the kareemin (fish fried in banana leaf) and condiment. Great service and quick! This is an exquisite experience in Kerala. Should I mention that the loos are world class?

Nice restaurant. In this area, this is one of the good restaurants. Most of the food is prepared according to customer requirements. They have good parking space and dining space as well.
I highly recommend the fish items, both curry, and fry. In the evening, you will get nice porotta. They also have some fresh juices made with available fruits.
If you come with a large group, I highly recommend this restaurant for lunch.

AMAZING ! All staff working here were extraordinarily kind and helpfull and the fresh fish we ate here was the best we had in our month long trip in India. A very cosy quiet place to relax and enjoy. I highly recommend!!

We were twoand had a great vegetarian Tali dinner. The owner explained about all the dishes, there were refills until we asked to stop as we couldn't eat anymore.
The service was super friendly.
Throughout our time there, many locals came to take food back home, which for me is a great sign.
They also have a small juice bar outside, where we ordered sliced pineapple (twice)

Stephen and his family are running this little restaurant. I wasn‘t used to not getting a lunch card, but there is no such fancy menu card since it’s a little family restaurant in a rural area … as Stephen told me (I will never forget his lovely smile while he was telling me). But what you get is very good food for a reasonable price!

Just go in and ask for lunch and you will see thali meals (you get more by asking) are already ready for serving … if you come between 12pm and14pm meals are at their best - just freshly cooked with love!

Got to taste the authentic Kerala delicacies specially caramen fish..... the place has good options for veg & non veg meals,since my wife & daughter are vegetarian.... a special mention of warmth & hospitality of the owner & the staff ..... thank you team Mundro Riverside....

We had really good food here! The fish was very nice and fresh and the prawns masala were just fantastic!

Food tastes good. But I feel sea foods are over priced.

Meilleur restaurant de Munroe islands !! Nous avons mangé quasiment tous les jours la bas vu que la nourriture est très bonne!
Situé en face de la rive d’où vous pourrez voir le coucher de soleil si vous prenez votre plat avec vous sur le rebord !

Un très bon accueil et service du restaurant.
Sert un thali délicieux et le meilleur poisson qu’on ai pu manger de notre séjour en Inde !
Malheureusement, on a oublié de prendre des photos, mais si vous hésitez avec d’autres établissements il n’y a pas de doute sur la qualité prodiguée.

Cuisine familiale excellente. Ils peuvent cuisiner sur demande le poisson local péché juste en face.
Les meals sont très copieux et service non stop!
Accueil très chaleureux.
