Very bad conditions of the funeral system here. Every thing is made for business & to loot money. Even if you pay whatever they ask, they don't do funeral properly. I witnessed funeral of my mother-in-law. The woods provided were not dried. The person forgot to do kapaal kriya. After burning sometime, they use bamboo to mesh up wood and the body and at last they use water to put flame down and quickly make the place ready for next funeral. At the end, a mafia man came in pant shirt asking 1100 as dakshina. He said all cases of that side comes under him and if we don't pay, he will create obstacles in release of death certificate. Pathetic city management and corrupt government.
