We had one Jubilee celebration few years back and first death anniversary Mass celebration. Great place, doing wondaful charity service to the people needed. We had great experience with Thomas chettan and his all team. They are very generous and cooperative with all kinds of resources. Highly recommended!

Navajeevan is an initiative of Mr. Thomas an ordinary man who faced lots of struggle and challenge in his childhood. A visit to Kottayam Medical College for treatment was the turning point of his life when he saw a lady eating food from the garbage tin. The incident made a deep influence on this man and from then he dedicated his life for the lunatic destitutes . Today Navajeevan is home for about 300 lunatic destitutes and also a ray of hope for about 5 thousand people who get the best meals for free at medical College, hospitals and street in and around Kottayam District.
It was an overwhelming experience to be there and know the journey of Navjeevan from nothing to what it has become now.
you can visit Navajeevan and be Volunteer anytime for cooking where the besest of the best meals are prepared in a hygienic premises with lots of love and dedication.
Do visit atleast once and make sure to contribute for a good cause!

Very nice place

if you have surplus clothes please donate. they also accept food grains, pulses, biscuits, bread, etc. they need 200 kg or so rice every day, they have around 300 inmates, mostly mentally ill, handicapped persons who are neglected by the society and psychiatric people. many cant even take food by themselves. need care and attention all the time. Thomas Sir, the director takes special interest in them. they also provide food to in-mates of kottayam medical college.

Navajeevan Trust is Destitute Home run by Mr. Thomas who was an attendant in Government Medical College Kottayam. The Navajeevan Trust provides Rehabilitation for Persons with mental Disabilities, Free Food Distribution and Hospital Service. Mr. Thomas can be called Living Saint.

Navageevan is functioning under its saradhi navageevan Thomas chettan. He is sympathetic and empathetic to the fellow beings. We could help him for his activities bye giving money or volunteer woks. If it so we have to inform him earlier. Good atmosphere and treatment of the inmates. Some people are mentally ill and they are specially protected.

Navajeevan is a rehabilitation centre primarily for mentally ill. In addition to this this organization also take care of abandoned, bedridden and destitutes who are need of care. Moreover they provide free food and water to the patients and bystanders in public hospitals in Kottayam locality such as Kottayam Medical College, Institute of Child Health and District Hospital serving approximately 5000 people in a day.
It's their office which co ordinates it's all activities for the welfare of people 👍
