Beautiful hall situated the calm place of arpookara ( place in kottayam district) around 350 to 400 pack placed auditorium ..good for small marriage function and other small function...cool dinning area is attached with hall

Awesome place to organise a weddings or upanayanam or engagement or parties or functions. It's very neat and clean, well maintained hall , surroundings and bathrooms. Simply awesome. Seems capacity of the hall the 400 approx and dining court capacity per trip is 150. Hall and stage is spacious and there are two rooms with attached bathroom on the stage. Simply awesome.

This place is not more far from Kottayam Thazhathangady Thirumala Devaswom (GSB Temple ).
People of Arpookara village who took initiative For the new Samooha Madom manages the functions there very nicely.
They organize the needs and deeds for every functions.The View of the river is Magnificent from the place.
Festivals like Deepavali,Navratri,Ganesh chathurthi etc..... are celebrated here with Joy & pleasure.
The Auditorium is apt for almost all functions of GSBs around kerala.

GSB Samooha Madom also now known as SS Kalamandir (after the building has been renowated as an auditorium)is a place of worship for the Gowda Saraswath Brahmins residing in this area. The madom is powered by a committee of experienced people.Srinivasa Seva Mandal is a youth organisation working for the empowerment of GSB. The first saturday of all month, GSB people gather here for Sathyanarayana Vrutham( a pooja for prosperity ).
