Queenie's Oven Green Cafe

Nice place to relax and have some tasty food; we've had pancakes, sandwiches, quiches and pakoras. Everything is freshly made and well seasoned. Also their ginger lemongrass mint tea is amazing!

I visited Queenie's cafe during my stay in Sidhpur, Dharmshala. It is located adjacent to the Norbulingka Institute. The cafe looks beautiful, spacious and decorated with plants and books. I had delicious cafe latte with freshly baked orange lemon cake. I also had egg wrap and the food tasted so good that I got packed lunch as well. Over my second coffee, I had a beautiful conversation with the cafe owner on her journey into creating this cafe and challenges during the pandemic. So, if you are in Dharmshala, do visit this cafe for delicious coffee with warm hosts :)

If you visit norbulingka institute, then this is the best place to have some quality food. The cafe doesn't look like much from outside but once you step inside, it has a nice vibe to it with a lot of books to read. You can blindly order anything from the menu and it would be good. This was my regular place to eat during my stay at norbulingka.

A fantastic cafe and some amazing food at a place which is not #mcleodganj or #dharamkot in #dharamsala. Jonu runs this awesome place, she knows what healthy food means (pardon the fries lol), and has a knack to get the right taste on your plate. More power to this unexplored Cafe.

The warmth of the love that gets put into the food makes the tasty yummy stuff so much more tastier! It was amazing. The place is welcoming and clean and the food is just shy of the warmth of the host/cook.

A quiet cafe with good food. I quite enjoy their “cafe de olla”. The prices for food are quite reasonable too. It’s right on the road, so it’s easy to find. It’s also near Norbulingka Institute, so it’s in a good location.

Surprise. Surprise. Such succulent food at such an unassuming place. Complete value for money. fresh ingredients in the pizza and fresh out of the oven, warm cakes and tarts. Yum. It's perched on the first floor atop narrow steps but the baked goods, pastries, cookies, tarts made it worth the little climb. Try the Carrot cake and the quiche for sure. The lady was an energetic, nice person & it only added to the charm of the place.

Overlooking the Norbulingka Institute, this cozy little cafe is well adorned with many shrubs, bookshelfs and a good music system. When I reached there, I was too tired as it was the last day of my week long trip. I had thupka (soupy noodles) while my friend had chocolate crepe. I also had a walnut carrot cake which was really cool. I just loved the vibe here. Great idea would be too spend a some time snacking here before visiting the Institute. Must visit I'd say.

Only vegetarian food is served. Fried momos are well prepared and cooked. Magazines and books are kept to keep you well engaged. If you're visiting Sidhbari ,then have a look at Queenie's. In order to reach here ,its an upscale travel, in addition to that you have scale a few stairs. Reaching here can be little painful.

This place is geniune in its pricing and the food they offer.the place is set up in a way that you can spend there hours together sipping on your tea and accompanied by yummy bakes .these are hand made by the woman who runs the place .her name us junno ,she is the one u can see cooking for u .I ordered paranta ,momos and a cup of black tea .it was so personalised by junno that I felt I was at home .sometimes the touristic approach to a restaurant makes u feel like u pay and u get exactly what u paid for .but a place like this ,u get in and the place invites u to stay as long as u want and when ur order reaches ur table you are happy because its great in quality and quantity .and above all u are left alone to enjoy ur feast .that's what I liked .they were there to assist me with my needs and left me the space where I could be at ease .

W.r.t. the area, the place offers great food at the most reasonable prices, the setting is good. Great place to hang out with family or friends. Decor is really impressive. The food is finger-licking good.

Lovely peaceful place. We had veg soup, beetroot soup, bread and peanut butter - all homemade and delicious.

One of the best experience for food and natural beauty. Hidden treasure of dharamshala.
