Never thought I will get all bengali food items, groceries, vegetables, sweets and puja items in Chennai.. But Ganesh Mart has made it possible. I would like to thank Mohor di and Chandran for their efforts and hard work to bring all bengali items in their stores.. We also got Nolen Gur and Patali Gur from their stores which I thought I will never get once I left Kolkata.. But they have made it possible. I highly recommend all to visit their stores.. I can give assurance that you will be highly satisfied... I wish all the success to Ganesh Mart...

Availability of typical Bengali groceries and vegetables were dream in Chennai untill Ganesha's Mart started catering. Be it our very own pnaach foron, bori, Jharna ghee, Gobindobhog /Bnaskathi chaal, Bisk farm biscuits, Mukhorochak delicacies or vegetables like pniyaj koli,maan kochu,Kashi r begun (does not come from Kashi, but called so 😊) all these are now a call away. The best part is the personal care taken by Mrs. Mohar to advice,arrange and deliver the right products to all the customers. I heard they are now planning to bring Druba tea varieties very soon which will be just awesome for all the tea lovers of Kolkata staying in Chennai. At least then my mother or in-laws do not have to carry tea leaves from Kolkata while planning to stay in Chennai for a longer window 😀.

I wish them all the best and will be delighted to see them grow more so that we do not miss our "para r dokan" (in Bengali it is used to denote a close by local shop where usually you get all your culinary basics ) in Chennai...

The opening of this space in the middle of a pandemic deserves a huge applause and is a shining example of entrepreneurial confidence in difficult times ! Mohor is a delight to speak with and her eye for detail for customer requirements is remarkable . To have a place in chennai where one can get things that remind of home is very comforting. They don’t sell products they deliver nostalgia to our homes . Quality products made available at reasonable pricing with the BONUS of great customer relationship, something that is quickly forgotten once the venture is a success . I wish them luck and recommend them for all things Banagali .

They have brought the "Bengal' that we miss and so close to our heart, in Chennai!
Run by an enterprising lady, she is bringing regular grocery items from different parts of Bengal; some of the items are hard to get outside Bengal.
Quality of items on and average are really good.
At times one may get vegetables being brought from Bengal as well.
Only flip side is the location as it is located a bit far from both OMR and Tambaram Velachery Main Road; though located on a major arterial road.

One stop point to fulfill all your bong needs..
Among many the best part abt GM is they try to accomodate every specific request from each customer..thank you GM..u guys are blessings for people like us in Chennai..
