Antico Caffè Castellino

This cafe is located in a great location in Rome. They have all kinds and types of drinks and food. The quality was great, and the price was reasonable.
Ask Mr Wael, the restaurant team leader, and you be served at its best 👌

I can't recommend this spot enough! We had 4 dinners in Rome and had 3 of them at this delightful restaurant. On the first visit, we started chatting with the staff, who were friendly and funny. They welcomed us and made us feel valued as guests. The food was amazing. We loved the Quattro formaggi pizza and the pasta carbonara. The caprese salad had really fresh tomatoes and the mozzarella and prosciutto was a perfect starter. Each time the servers brought us a delicious treat at the end of the meal that was a perfect wrap up for a wonderful dinner. On our last night, we said a sad goodbye and our favorite server gifted us with a bag of their freshly ground coffee so that we would remember them when we got home.

We thought the prices were reasonable and the view and people watching from the table were an added bonus!! When you go to Rome, be sure to check out this restaurant!

We loved the food and location and the staff was friendly and helpful. The food was amazing and the tomatoes were easily the best I've ever had.

Simone was an excellent host/server and treated us to a great time. We had a wonderful meal in a fantastic location right across the the street from Palazzo Venezia. We ate outside next to a fire pit and enjoyed the views of the street with a delicious meal. 10/10 would recommend to anyone who is traveling in Rome.

Ive been to Antico Caffe twice recently, once with colleagues, then on vay cay with Chris (photo). The staff is absolutely marvelous, from the servers to the maitre 'd and particularly Mr.Wael who treats all customers like guests in his home, with grace and outstanding hospitality. We tried a variety of dishes and everything was superb! Yes, including the giant-sized beers! Mr. Wael (photo with hat) was gracious enough to comp delectable little pastries for us both visits in addition to a small nip of lemoncello, very Italian! Their cafe is close the Roman forum and Coliseum.

Antico Caffe Castellino is a nice cafe located next to Piazza Venezia. The menu offers salads, pasta, pizza, sweets etc. The price level is affordable and the service is friendly. The tables are located both inside and outside the restaurant. We enjoyed the pleasant atmosphere and food.

Great spot to drink some fresh juice and beer.
And also the service is amazingly good.

Especially, Thomas is a kind man.
He speaks good Japanese!

Super cute cafe with friendly staff that recognize you and let you know if youre overtipping like a crazy American! Be sure to order a panino and not panini or you'll get more than one.

Had a lot of fun here today! It was so hot we decided to stay and keep as cool as possible. The pizzas were really tasty and the staff kept us entertained and hydrated, including hosepipe and a bag of ice. They also made sure we were comfortable out of the direct sun. Love the friendly atmosphere here, we felt very welcome 😀

Only had Gelato but I couldn't fault anything.

In between exploring the city and stopped by this restaurant Antico cafe castellino. Food was excellent and very friendly and helpful staff. We were greeted by Wael, the gentlemen seated us and made sure we were comfortable and enjoying the food. Highly recommend!

Great food, great and nice service

Loved this place. The food was fantastic, from pastries to pizza. They have a large variety of pastries to choose from and their pizza's have exquisite taste! We ate pizza's at other Italian restaurants there but we found this one to be the best.

This place has great food and service. Nice sidewalk seating with warm fire during the cold days. It's not the BEST food you will find in Rome. But still very good!

Delicious food; pizza had a great crusty base all the way to the centre. Pesto pasta was perfectly hot on arrival. But the star of the show was the mojito; every sip as amazing as the last!
