This is one of the most beautiful historical sites for ancient ruins in Rome. It’s still in fairly decent condition, it’s fairly large with lots to see. It has a museum you can visit for a fee and you can explore the grounds during the day time. It’s also very nice to walk by at night and see everything lit up. I always enjoy this area as there’s so much to see and do. I would definitely recommend visiting The Imperial Fora and the market close by.

You will be able to see the hub of Ancient Rome’s political activities, including monuments and square realised between the 46 b.c. And the 117 a.d.

The first building encountered in this impressive complex is the Forum of Caesar, which was built for Julius Caesar's propaganda. Next to it the Forum of Augustus, then in order, the Temple of Peace , Forum of Nerva and Trajan Forum.

We decided to visit the “Museum of the Imperial Fora” which is situated on what once was the Roman Trojan’s market. It was excellent and allowed us to be marveled by the ruins of Ancient Rome one last time.

Fori Imperiali is an amazing place to visit in Rome. This ancient Roman forum was built by the emperors of Rome and consists of numerous ruins that you can look at and admire. The magnificent view of the Colosseum is visible from the Fori Imperiali area. I strongly recommend visiting this place if you are planning a trip to Rome.

I didn't explore the ruins from close, but they are very much and easily visible from the road itself. The Imperial forum is on both sides of the road, and majority of the attractions can be seen from the road itself like Basilica of Maxentius, Caesar's forum, Trajan's Market, Trajan's Forum and Trajan's column.

Via dei Fori Imperiali is a unique promenade from Piazza Venezia to the Colosseum, through the area of the Republican and Imperial Forums, the commercial and political heart of ancient Rome. Along the avenue you can admire the plans made on travertine slabs indicating the expansion of the Roman Empire. The lighting system brings the basilicas, colonnades and temples to life.
You can find 4 of Roman’s emperors Augusto, Nerva, Cesare e Traiano. Visit in the night time is magic.

Please note that it is not possible to enter the Imperial Palace from the Roman Forum and Padin Hill after 3:15 in the afternoon. Therefore, those who buy the pass must visit early and pay attention to control the time of each part of the tour.

All imperial forums are extended throughout the street that leads to colosseum, in the heart of Rome. Some well kept stone work and there are information boards to aid. Simply amazing architecture

Did the new "passegiata" in the imperial forums by night. Grazie Virgí! Note the imperial forums are not the Roman forum and include Trajan's, Augustus' and Cesar's forums around via dei fori imperiali. Anyway I had never been down here before and for only 4 euros it's definitely worth it and highly suggestive

The Imperial Forums constitute a series of five monumental squares built over the course of a century and a half (between 46 A.C. and 113 AD) in the heart of the city.C of Rome by Julius Caesar and the emperors Augustus, Vespasian, Nerva and Trajan.
They are not part of the Roman Forum, that is, the old republican square, whose first accommodation dates back to the royal age (6th.C century BC) and which had been for centuries the political, religious and economic center of the city.

The Imperial Fora also called Fori Imperiali in Italian are a series of monumental squares constructed in Rome between 46 BC and 113 AD. The Imperial Fora, while not part of the Roman Forum, are located relatively close to each other. The fora were the center of the Roman Republic and of the Roman Empire. Julius Caesar decided to construct a large forum bearing his name. This forum was inaugurated in 46 BC, although it was probably incomplete at this time and was finished later by Augustus. These fora were the centres of politics, religion and economy in the ancient Roman Empire.

It's probably the most incredible archeological site in the world. Immerse yourself in 2000 years of history and relive the incredible architecture of ancient Rome. No place in the world has seen and was center of history like these streets, temples, and statues. Avoid holidays and weekends, and please do not take " souvenirs " by removing stones or, even worse, inscribe your love in these antique facades. Respect the site and preserve it for future generations.

The Imperial Fora or Fori Imperiali houses the Ancient forums of Caesar, Augustus, Nerva and Trajan. The Temple of Peace is also located here.

This was my favorite outdoor museum ever!. So much history and you can physically touch the dilapidated structures. This place was free and it had security on station as well. There isn’t a guided tour available as well. I went in October of 2022 and you didn’t need to pay in advance for a ticket bc foot traffic was pretty light.
