Yellow Bar

Lovely place at night ... Great set of activities.. we stayed in the hostel and hit the bar for couple of nights... Karaoke night was crazy..

Must visit... Lovely and friendly staff.

Very nice place to have a drink with an international clientele all around. The staff was kind and the terrace was very nice, but very crowded after 8pm. I nonetheless do not recommend the aperol spritz, which was basically an orange sirup. The beers are nice. I recommend the place.

Fun friendly bar associated with yellow hostel.

10/10 energy from both customers and staff who were all really friendly. Loved the water fountain/tap too, as well as a street terrace for customer use.

Would visit again, just be aware you’re only going to be out with other travellers and not locals if here.

I am a 35yo solo traveler who had a 12h overnight in Rome.

Yellowbar was one of the few places listed with "live music" but this Friday it did not.

I had two duffelbags and failed to find a place to store them at the Roma airport.

Unlucky / lucky for me you cannot bring bags inside the bar (totally makes sense) - so they let me into the hostel across the street they also own and I got a locker there.

I hung out inside solo and people watched. Would be cool with friends for sure.

Stayed til about closing as I needed to catch the 430am train back to Roma airport

At the bnb to get my bags - I found a group of friends jamming out and it was one of the best night experiences I've had.

So in tandem the yellowbar and yellow square (the hostel they also own) I feel is the move. You also get discounts at the bar with a wrist band.

The bouncers never checked me lingering long to grab my bags and other non hostel residents were in the group hanging out too.

Def worth the stress of taking the last train into Rome and first train out to the airport haha.

Yellow square is an amazing hostel in the centre of Rome. The staff at the yellow bar are incredible and the security are even better. They look after you like you are family.

Mario is the best the security guard I have ever met in the world, friendly, very handsome, funny and very fair to every person that enters the bar. Could not recommend the this hostel and bar more than I can.

If you stay here you will not regret it.

The bar was taking decent care of me until I expressed my concerns. The security Mario had a personal interest in my concerns after I expressed how I was feeling. I have never felt better about an establishment as an American on my many travels until I met Mario. This man is very special and should be treated as such. If it weren’t for him I would’ve been gone.

Living in Italy, I like to find places that remind me of home. Yellow Bar does exactly that. They have amazing tacos with corn tortillas and fresh Italian ingredients. I got the pork and the chicken tacos an was not disappointed. Also, their popper from hell are fabulous with the fresh guacamole. Their beer on tap is a nice selection and a friend who had a margarita loved it. Just don’t be there during feeding time of the hostel it is attached to. It gets crowded then, but that doesn’t last. Every time I go to Rome from the south of Italy, I stop here for a nice bite.

Great bar, with cocktails for around €6 to 8€ and if you stay at the hostel and book on their website you get 20% discount on drinks. Regarding drinks, I highly recommend the pitchers to share! Trust me, it’ll be worth it.
For food, very good prices considering the quality of the food. I highly recommend the yellow bistro burger for €8,5; the onion rings for €3,5 — it’s a lot of tasty onion rings— and the cheese and tomato omelette for €6 — huge and delicious, almost as a brunch.
Finally, kind regards to male bartenders, always with a smile and happy to take your order.

I would improve: the toilet paper on the women’s bathroom, which runs out every night; and —totally subjective— the music quality downstairs (sometimes it’s too much of the same pop electronic mixes).

Beautiful staff, great food and eclectic atmosphere suitable for an international crowd. The welcome of free shots of vodka at mid day had our party banging on about Yellow Bar for the entire weekend. Of course we returned again...

High security bar with a lot of tourists which bring you the opportunity to make international friends. Live music was great.
Also you can play Foosball and Beer pong there.
Staffes are friendly and welcoming.

Such a fantastic place to meet up with friends or work colleagues! Great choice of drinks at the bar plus lovely tasty food menu. It has it all!
Professional and funny staff called Serath in a comfortable setting, doing the best non-Italian cuppucino.

Most amazing staff!! I lost my phone and all bar staff were alerted and promised if a phone was passed up they would let me know asap. Security team were also top notch, so kind and understanding and so helpful with every query or concern!!! Absolutely love this place and vibe was unreal!

It was very nice inside! The guy at the coffee machine, I think his name was serhat, was so so polite and friendly! Made me feel very welcome. Thank you very much! We will come back soon!

Great atmosphere at Friday, good music. Really strong coctails, at least long island. Service were nice. Bartenders were proffesionals. Overall great plca for friday night.

the staff were incredible and the atmosphere was super unexpected. we just went for dinner and a few cocktails and ended up staying until 4am! highly recommend if you're looking for a good night out in rome

During my time in Rome I was visiting this place occasionally for grabbing some drinks and hangout.

For the people who want to spend some quality time this place is nice.

Good food with good price!
The amount is huge and the price is cheap.
The food is also good, the restaurant is clean and staffs are friendly.

I visited Rome recently with family + friends. Thankfully I was with a group that has been to Rome before because they took the rest of the group & I to some of the coolest spots in Rome. One of my favorite spots was Yellow Bar. The service, ambience, & atmosphere was electrifying. The food was amazing! Hussein & Jose took care of us multiple nights whilst we were there & both were the main reasons why we kept coming back. Thank you Yellow Bar for the hospitality!
