Greenline Tours provided a great trip to Orvieto and Assisi for our group. Our local guide was very knowledgeable as well. The only constructive criticism I have is that more time in Assisi would have been nice. I know my wife and I could have just found a tour of just Assisi, so I am just speaking out of hindsight. Overall, it was a great excursion. Thank you, Greenline Tours!

Great tour with a nice loop that showcases all the main stops in Rome. We loved being able to have the flexibility to get on and off the bus to check out the different sites!

Informative with fun hosts and runs very efficiently with the other Rome tour busses. Be sure to get the ticket that has the three main busses and you'll never wait very long at all.

It goes to all the places you want to see and stop at.
I particularly liked that they keep to their schedule and the hostess on the bus made us take a photo of it as it wasn't the same as the one on the Internet.
When traveling with kids who get hungry and tired it was really good for us to be able to trust the schedule.
We used the 24 hour ticket which was perfect for us to do lots of sightseeing in 2 days.

My partner and I went on a Pompei/Mount Vesuvius day trip last Saturday 31/8/24. The day was filled with pleasant surprises We wish to thank our tour guide Christina who made it such a fun day.
The Pompei guide Susie was an informative and candid and so was our Vesuvius guide Anthony.
A restaurant lunch was included with a pasta entree, a delicious traditional Napolitain pizza and a choice of seafood main.
Great value all round and great fun from beginning to end.
Highly recommend!

Honestly, when I saw the rating for the company it surprised me. I guess I was lucky to have a really good time with my family on the bus :) The breeze was lovely, head set was working and we didn’t have to wait more than 10 min for the buses etc Overall, it was a great experience.

Top marks. The first time you use it I think it is well worth using the headphones and plugging them into the on-board multi-lingual information guide which tells you all about the sites. But where it excels is as a bus. Get on and get off when and where you want and be back in ample time. It allows terrific freedom.

A 24 hr ticket is 25 euros (adult) and 15 euros (junior). A 48 hr ticket is 32 (adult) and 19 euros (junior). And a 72 hr ticket is 39 euros (adult) and 26 euros (junior). A Daily Ticket which allows travel for that day is 22 and 14 euros for adult and junior respectively. And for 16 euros for adult and 11 euros for juniors a 3 Pass Ticket is valid for one day on any of GLT bus lines and allows you to get on and off at 3 different stops of your choice.

All stops take in sites such as the Circus Maximus, Basilica Santa Maggorie, Colosseum/Forum, Piazza Venezia and Vatican City.

There is three main lines. Discover Rome (GREEN), Destination Eataly (ORANGE) and Explore Museums (BLUE). Every one worth doing.

I would recommend getting the bus with no top, sun will be hot but you'll be able to see everything. Great way to see the city. Audio was informative and easy to understand, sometimes slightly delayed.

I’m not sure which tour bring this companies reviews down so much, but in July 2017 we took a tour from Rome to Capri which included our charter bus, ferry ride, lunch on Capri, and general tour as well as a few hours of free time on the island. Visiting Capri made our entire trip to Italy worth it! Pino was an excellent guide!

-We took the green route which is apparently the most popular and has the highest bus frequency.

-A loop is 1 hr 30 min. You can do as many trips as you can till your pass expires.

-They give you headphones to listen as the bus drives around. This is offered in 16 languages. Channel 2 is English

-This is a double decker bus. The roof is open / closed by the operator depending on the weather (eg raining or not)

-please take the handout they give you. It has QR code as to the exact location of the bus stops. This is a common complaint in google reviews that people can’t find the location of the bus stop. There is also a QR code to do real time tracking of the bus.

-there are two types of tickets: day ticket which is valid for the day and cost euro 24 for adults and euro 15 for kids. This is good if you are starting the tour in the morning. You can also take 24 hour tour for 3 more euros and it is good for 24 hours from the time the ticket is validated— validation happens on the first time you board.

-there are agents on the street selling you tickets. They will give you a kid free or lower the price if you show some hesitation to buy tickets. We were 2 adults and 2 kids and got 1 kid free.

- it’s a good idea to take a photo of the physical ticket just incase you lose it.

-we took the 10:15 am bus from termini and we were at St. Peter’s square at 12 pm to see the pope talk (see photo).

Pretty good. No complaints. Would like tour busses to update their headphone jacks to Bluetooth or c-insert so I can use my headphones on board.

Takes you on three tours in Rome (what we used it for)

Green line - all the main center sites.
Comes the most frequent, starts earlier, has a different starting point, right by a Cafe.
Blue line - shows you all the museums. Starts on the OPPOSITE END of the bus zone if you're coming from the Rome train station. Same with the Orange line.
Orange line- shows you all the great eats

Had a great experience with these guys. Buses were on time and there was plenty to see.

We don’t manage to go on all the lines with everything to stop and do.

I would recommend getting a a 2 days pass.

The price was also far more reasonable than the others.

We got on a bus around 10:30 in the morning to avoid the big crowds and had a very nice guided tour around Rome. It’s no VIP treatment, but definitely worth the 35€ we payed online for tickets. We really enjoyed it and recommend it!

We did the hop on hop off bus in Rome. It was absolutely worth the 20 euros to do it. There were quite a few stops on the routes, and we appreciated the history lesson on each stop and places as we drove by. It took 2 hours to do the tour one full time around. Would recommend to anyone wanting to go around Rome!

Don't waist your money and time a great way to tour the city.
The bus stops are at the essential and touristic spots, it’s a great value for money especially if you take 2 or 3 days in one go, the bus hours are great! Would definitely recommend, I have forgotten my bag back the first day in the bus the customers support service was amazing, they contacted me took care of it and met me the day after in the nearest location big Thanks to the manager Mrs.Erika and Ms Anda.

Very informative and fun tour. But most importantly they have customer service that goes above and beyond. I forgot my sunglasses on the bus, but I phoned the support number and they got the glasses back to me within an hour. Overall really great experience.

Even though there are many negative reviews regarding the service. We haven't any issues with them. It might be a case by case thing.

To make your life easier male sure you take them from the main station. And do the full tour first. Pinpoint the locations you want to stop in on a second round.

The number of buses they have aren't as much as the other competitors but with some planning you can find a bus at the main stations.

They were friendly and helpful too.
