Residence Rio Selva

We had a warm welcome to this lovely holiday destination. We stayed in a 3 bedroom accommodation, which was clean and had all the basics you'd need for a self catering holiday. Gorgeous, clean pool and paddling pool for young children. Lovely, well kept grounds.
The owners were friendly and knowledgeable. Julie helped us book various trips while we were away.
It's a fantastic spot for sight seeing. You can walk 10 minutes to two different, pretty little ports and catch a ferry on the lake to the North and South of the lake, with breathtaking views and lots of lovely ports to visit. Or hop on a short journey to Rabbit Island.
Five minutes walk into a lovely little local village, with great local restaurants. So many walks to the most beautiful views.
There are so many easily accessible places to visit, including an hour in a car to beautiful Verona. A 20 minute car journey to the train station and you can be in the centre on Venice in under two hours.
Highly recommended. Plenty to do, or just relax.

We have just returned from a fabulous fortnight at beautiful Residence Rio Selva in stunning Lake Garda. What a superb spot for a family holiday. Our design apartment was stylish, spacious and had all the facilities we needed to make it a home from home. The setting is beautiful, very green and private and the pool is excellent - our three young daughters were in heaven! It has a relaxed and homely vibe and our girls quickly made friends with other children, whether they could speak the same language or not!

The location affords easy access for exploring the lake, with Port Dusano just a 10 minute stroll away where you can catch a ferry to many Lake must-sees and even the farthest points of the lake were a relatively easy (and on several occasions breathtaking) drive away. Some particular highlights from our trip were Saló, Bardolino, Sirmione and Malcesine, although we still have lots to explore. We also enjoyed a mini adventure in Venice, which is just a two hour drive or easy train journey from Desenzano.

Porto Torchio is a great Lake beach just a 15 minute walk downhill (a little longer on the way back!) with restaurants, bars and the obligatory pedalo hire (our girls particularly loved the ones with slides!) and just a 5 minute drive away is Moniga beach, slightly quieter but equally nice, where we had lots of fun splashing around on paddle boards.

The village of Montinelle, a 5 minute walk away, is quaint with stunning lake views and a host of lovely eateries and all the amenities you need, including bakery, butcher, mini mart, bar and gelateria, although our favourite restaurant was Da Mari down at Port Dusano where we had a wonderful meal in a gorgeous lake-side setting.

All in all, It’s a superb place for a family holiday, the perfect mix of relaxing, exploring and having fun! Julie, Dario and family are great hosts and nothing is too much trouble for their guests. We have recommended it to friends who have also enjoy great stays here.

This was our second trip to Residence Rio Selva and it won’t be our last!

Just returned from this wonderful part of Lake Garda holidaying with 3 friends. We were so impressed with the area as normally with HPB accessabily to amenities is often a problem but even without a car we managed so well. The stars of our stay were Julie and Dario who made us so welcome and advised us on the best things to do and see. Hope to return

Fantastic place in a great location to explore the Lake. The family who manage the Site are fabulous and so friendly. The apartments are well decorated and have everything you need in them, like home away from home.

Wir durften 14 Tage in diesem tollen Resort verbringen und können es von ganzen Herzen weiter empfehlen. Wer es etwas ruhiger am Gardasee mag ist hier am richtigen Ort. Das Ferienhaus war sauber, alles da was man brauchte und der Pool war einfach spitzenklasse ! Die Vermieter sind sehr nett und um das Wohl der Feriengäste bemüht. Auch unser kleiner Hund war willkommen und hat sich wohlgefühlt.

Wir waren im Sommer 2023 das erste Mal bei Julie und Dario zu Gast und hatten uns so wohl gefühlt, dass wir gleich für das nächste Jahr wieder reserviert haben.
Die Gegend ist einfach wundervoll! Die Familie Buccheri ist super gastfreundlich und hilfsbereit. Das gesamte Areal ist gepflegt und ordentlich, sowie die Apartments sauber und wohnlich.
Es ist alles da, was einen Familienurlaub perfekt macht! :-)

Tolle Doppelhäuser, wunderschönes (riesiges)Grundstück und ein top Pool. Das alles angeboten durch klasse Gastgeber. Wir haben uns erneut sehr wohl gefühlt , inkl Hund.

Wir durften hier eine wunderschöne Woche verbringen. Die ganze Anlage, unsere Unterkunft und der große und tolle Pool waren sehr gepflegt. Die Eigentümer sehr nett und hilfsbereit.

Wir wahren leider nur für eine Woche in dieser wirklich traumhaften Anlage mit unseren 3 Kindern. Die Anlage ist sehr gut gepflegt, die Apartments sehr gut ausgestattet und der Pool ist ein echter Traum. Für Kinder ein wahres Paradies. Eine sehr große Anlage wo auch sehr aktive Kinder kaum störend auffallen. Wir werden auf alle Fälle wieder kommen.

Eine wirklich herausragende Unterkunft. Ruhig gelegen,- und doch sind Restaurants, Hafen und Geschäfte zu Fuß in wenigen Minuten zu erreichen. Dario und Julie sind äußerst freundliche und jederzeit hilfsbereite Gastgeber. Die Doppelbungalows liegen idyllisch im Park eingebettet, nahezu nicht einsehbar mit tw. traumhaften Blick auf Sirmione und den Gardasee. Einzigartig ist der sehr große Pool mit Massagedusche und Wasserfall, sehr komfotablen Liegen inmitten der Anlage. Die gesamte Anlage incl. hauseigenen Parkplätzen ist durch Eisentore mit Code gesichert. Die Ausstattungen der Bungalows sind perfekt, Sat-Fernsehen ebenso selbstverständlich wie Insektenschutzgitter an den Fenstern.
Die Anlage ist sehr empfehlenswert und die Mietpreise absolut angemessen.
Wir waren nach 2015 im September 2018 zum 2. Male dort,- die Qualität der Anlage ist überzeugend und wir werden gerne wieder hinfahren.

Wir haben in Manerba del Garda in der Residence Rio Selva 14 wunderbare Tage verbracht . Die Anlage ist Top gepflegt, die Häuser sehr sauber und der Pool ein Traum. Durch die Zentrale Lage ist man innerhalb 10min in Porto Dusano oder innerhalb 5min im Dörfchen, wo man gut essen gehen kann. Perfetto🇮🇹

Unglaublich schöne Unterkünfte, eingebettet in einen liebevoll gepflegten Park. Die Ferienwohnungen sind sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet und die Betreuung durch die Gastgeber ist einwandfrei. Ich auf jeden Fall und gerne wieder.

Eine Oase der Ruhe. Grandioser Pool. Sehr nette Eigentümer. Tolle Atmosphäre!
