Ristorante Pizzeria Sottovento

We had dinner here two out of 4 nights. It was really great, tasty, Italian food we had every time. The pizzas and pastas were so delicious 🍕. They have a lot of tables inside, and the Aircon is well working, making it comfortable inside on the hot days. They have my highest recommendations!

2nd vist July 2023: Stefano and the team looked after us again. Fantastic food! Beetroot Gnocchi, Asparagus prawn rissoto, trout, burger and pizzas. Wonderful food, wonderful people. See you next year!
1st visit July 2022: Had a fantastic experience both evenings we dined here! A friendly team and good service. The first evening we ate filet steak, ribeye beef (pictured), pizza salamino, a burger and grilled vegetables. It was also no problem to swap out the fries for salad as a side to the burger. All excellent! The second night we all ate pizza - salamino, amalfi, prosciutto and porcini. Quickly and freshly prepared by the pizza chef and delivered from the amazing pizza oven - absolutely delicious! Fascinating to watch the pizza chef handle the dough so expertly. We also recommended the restaurant to new found friends and Stefano and team happily accommodated them at short notice. Loved the sailing and windsurfing memorabilia in the restaurant that added a nice, nautical atmosphere. We look forward to dining there again next time we are visiting Torbole.

Am I dreaming? They have all that I wanted in an Italian restaurant experience. Jolly and fun staff, good location, nice tables in and out. The food tastes like heaven. I have eaten here many times and they never let me down. My favourite restaurant in the entire Garda, or even in the whole Italy maybe.

Starter, main course, dessert, everything was great! The ambience was great, the service very attentive, we'd love to come back. You can see what we ate on the pictures, but the pizzas on the neighboring tables also looked very good and came straight from the wood-burning oven.
Whether it's fine dining or fast food, Ristorante Pizzeria Sottovento is definitely worth a visit :)

Very nice restaurant with nice and good food for good price

Delicious pizza and grilled vegetables salad! One of the better restaurants in Torbole - you have to try it out!

What a great place! Visited during a spontaneous stay in Torbole, recommended by our hotel.
It was very busy, when we arrived, but the staff took their time nevertheless. Exquisite seafood mixed grill and an impeccable service!

Amazing place lockated in special surouding - narow street and old houses.

Picas are made in traditional way are tasty and big enouth :)

We were come back here for second dinner and met a lot people from last day - peope are coming back here for a reson.

We were here twice during our stay of 5 days. The food is really good with fair price and the wine is also very delicious.

We were absolutely satisfied with everything. The pizza is tasty an crunchy. The tuna steak was marvelous and everyone left happy!

The restaurant is Nice and welcoming. Waiters and the owner were very friendly and welcoming. Food was great and prices are OK since the portions are generous and it being on a kinda touristy location.

We went there yesterday and it was great. The bread beforehand is heaven. Very friendly service by the daughter and another waitress as well as the best pizza by „papa“. Grazie mille.

We are quite often in torbole and always visit this place!
Why?
- top & friendly Service: English, German & as expected Italien
- very Good pizza & pasta: I am pretty sure there is no better one around
- nice location: the terrace is nice and you can sit in a nice placa, too!

I really recommend this place!
Try it - you will come back for sure.

Totally worth to visit. What a wonderful restaurant!

It really seemed like they didn't get a good view on how many people are waiting for a table in front of their restaraunt. So we started with mixed feelings about this restaraunt but definitely worth to remind them your standing there.

We've had a great evening over here. The ambiance is great, the food even better and with normal prizes! Friendly employees and a very funny owner (likes to give you free shots and competitions who’s faster in drinking beer).
Thank you for the great evening!! We'll definitely visit again if we are nearby.
