One of the best restaurants I ever been! Just in the centre of the medieval city of Trento, this small but really fancy restaurant will give you another perspective on the Italian cuisine!

Excellent surprise. We have chosen this restaurant while visiting Trento city center. Right next to the cathedral and not the usual touristic restaurant but with a gourmet approach and I can tell you they work with passion. It is great seeing the approach on creating the menu (one for each meal course) and the use of vine tree as fence and even its twigs on the menu. Professional service accompanied the meal. A must dine in when in Trento!

Our team had organized a dinner there. It's a historical building. It's one the top fine-dining restaurants in Trento. One of the halls in the basement was given to us. First, one of the staff members narrated us a little history of Trento and the restaurant. Each table was accompanied with a staff member to serve food and make sure the glass is always filled with a wine. The menu was already decided by the team. The food was amazing and insta-worthy 😁. But as a student, I can't afford this place for a casual dinner with friends or family.

Excellent! Fantastico!!
Beautiful fresh tagliolini with fresh mushrooms.
The Pork was wonderful too and the fish was delicious. Great champagne and lovely service with the best view of the cathedral. Such a beautiful old building as well. It’s not fast the food took 40minutes to come out. They close at 3pm as well for lunch.

We have been to dine at Scrigno del Duomo three times now, and it is hands down the best restaurant in Trento and the surrounding area. The cuisine is very high-end, on par or exceeding several Michelin-starred restaurants we have been to in London and elsewhere. The food is creative, unique and absolutely delicious. There is a big focus on creating dishes using local seasonal ingredients and adapting traditional regional recipes with a modern culinary element. Additionally, the staff are incredibly helpful and the level of customer service exceptional. The staff are warm, welcoming and incredibly professional. If you are in the Trentino region this restaurant is a must visit – we love it!

In the main square of Trento, in the heart of the Dolomites, you can find a stunning restaurant to live a great experience. The service is quite perfect, the wine list is oriented on regional wines, but you can find some gems like Gaia, the cuisine is an excellent mix between old school and new techniques. We tasted the spaghettoni cacio e pepe with crunchy pancetta (pork belly) and dried raspberry, plus smoked risotto with juniper and local wild trout. Both of these plates were made by a young but talented chef, Mattia Piffer, who deserves a Michelin Star soon, imho. Our choice for the pairing was Manna, a special white wine by Franz Haas. The check is appropriate for the dinner, and for the location. Scrigno del Duomo is obviously for a special occasion, but... It is so good that could be the place for every single supper. Definitely one of the best restaurant you can visit in Trento.
