From the moment we arrived at this boutique hotel, perched high in the mountains, we knew we were in for a special experience. With only 11 rooms, this family-owned gem offers a level of intimacy and personalized service that is rare to find. The breathtaking views of the mountain ranges and the town below are straight out of a postcard, making every moment here feel magical.

The location is perfect for outdoor enthusiasts, offering easy access to skiing and hiking in the nearby towns and mountains. But what truly sets this place apart is the staff. Their genuine kindness and willingness to go above and beyond made us feel like part of their family.

The wellness room, with its saunas, massage rooms, and serene ambiance, offers a perfect retreat after a day of adventure. However, the crown jewel of this hotel is undoubtedly its culinary experience. The 2-Michelin-star restaurant provided a dining adventure like no other, while the equally impressive breakfasts, lunches, and casual meals were prepared with the same exceptional quality and care.

In comparison to renowned establishments like Aman and Four Seasons, this hotel not only stands its ground but shines in its unique charm and excellence. It's a true hidden gem, offering a magical and unparalleled experience at every turn. We're already planning our next visit to this extraordinary retreat.

The restaurant is a great experience. Gisela and Heinrich are simply a symbol of who the real chief and creator should feel like. The team, the food, the spectacle - it was all cohesive, wonderful and along with the location it brought an absolutely accurate picture of what perfection and passion should look like. Total recommendation!

A hidden gem in south Tyrol. The hotel is small but very equipped (well maintained and clean spa, high end restaurant, great breakfast...). The 2-michelin star restaurant is one of the best we have experienced - all ingredients are from the surrounding mountains, and the chef knows how to turn all elements into a fantastic, creative cuisine through his "magic"! The staff team are so professional, helpful, and friendly! They made us feel like home! Totally loved this magic place! Hate I cannot give more than 5 stars!

A wonderful place to visit to be close to nature and if you enjoy hiking, as there are multiple trails just near by. The hotel is simple yet elegant and the owners as well as the rest of their team were friendly and very helpful. The highlight of our stay was dining in the restaurant where we experienced a cuisine that was magical in many ways. The presentation, the service, the chef and his team made every dish presented memorable flavours that tickles your taste buds. Would love to visit it again, we had a marvellous experience.

We interrupted our journey at the Hotel & Restaurant 'Terra - The Magic Place' for a two day Gourmet Dinner. As a couple we booked two double rooms (with Dolomites facing balcony) and got a great room, facing the mountain view - it was very spacious, tasteful interior and quite. The beds were excellent, as well as the bathrooms and we had very nice nights. The views from the restaurant are breath-taking. However some very small details will remind you, that the building was built in a different style.
We had two Gourmet menus (2-star Michelin) and it was without a doubt two highlights. Very tasteful, creative and well presented. The service was matching the Gourmet standard and very knowledgeable. We would like to point out, that all menu courses were an out-standing composition and delicious.
The Hotel & restaurant service was very helpful and friendly. We will be back to visit this great place in Tirol again.

Imagine a retreat in the most majestic mountains. Away from all hustle. Fresh air. Hikes. Solitude. A jucuzzi overlooking the peaks. Waldfrieden.

And, of course, a two star restaurant with a magnificent wine selection. Competent staff. Tireless care. Knowledgeable and friendly consultation. The owners themselves running everything with heart and soul and dedication. And a lot of good taste and judgement, of course.

Multiply all that with three and you begin to get the Terra.

Impeccable from start to finish, and easily one of the best dinners we’ve ever had. Terra elevates the typical Michelin-star experience to an art form, without sacrificing warmth, hospitality, and generosity of spirit. For us, this alone was worth the trip from New York.

Super food at consistent high level; very tasty and all plates look like works of art. Two Michelin stars and still not very expensive.

Comparelessly unique! It’s something of the best I’ve ever experienced. Haute cuisine without any stiffness or bumptiousness. Mrs and Mr Schneider and their team are wonderful hosts, and this on a top level. Thank you very much!

Beautiful Rooms, Amazing Dining ( both Dinner and Breakfast ) in a jaw dropping gorgeous location ... It's not cheap but it's definitely worth it.

Io e mia moglie quest’anno in vacanza in Trentino non potevamo perder l’occasione di soggiornare al Terra e contestualmente provare la cucina dello chef Heinrich Schneider. Cosa dire, la struttura è concepita in modo funzionale e curatissima in tanti particolari, intima, completamente immersa nel bosco a 1600m, un luogo magico davvero. Spa stupenda, con due saune, una delle quali ad infrarossi con il cesto di fieno, sala relax ampia con letti comodissimi e vasca idromassaggio con finestra panoramica sulla pineta che regala una sensazione di pace quasi surreale.
Per quanto riguarda la cucina, ho veramente poco da dire.. in ogni piatto di Heinrich Schneider si può ritrovare la stessa cura nella ricerca di una perfezione estetica che si fonde con il racconto dei sapori che la terra, in ogni suo aspetto, ha da offrirci. Tra tutte le esperienze culinarie e stellate fatte in vita mia credo sicuramente questa sia stata una delle più straordinarie. Ultima , ma non meno importante menzione, va fatta per Gisela, la cui attenzione e cura sono tanto grandi sia nell’accoglienza che come sommelier, e per i ragazzi che si occupano della sala, Michele, Antonio e Raji, tutti eccezionali.

In questo piccolo hotel immerso nel verde si ha la sensazione di essere sempre al centro delle attenzioni del personale, già a partire dall'accoglienza.
Camere spaziose e con accesso diretto al giardino.
La zona wellness dispone di due saune, una Jacuzzi e un'area relax. Ho sentito la mancanza di una piscina esterna e di uno spazio fitness.
Il fiore all'occhiello del posto è il ristorante da 2 stelle Michelin, dove ogni piatto è squisito e ben presentato. Servizio cordiale, affabile.
Complimenti ai fratelli Schneider e alla loro squadra.

Cena gourmet con pernottamento, in un posto magico per davvero. Un susseguirsi di pietanze, curate nel dettaglio e dai sapori particolari. Tutto curato dalla mise en place della tavola, alla location del locale. Degna di nota anche la colazione, una experience nella experience. Da provare una volta 🤗

Magic, di nome e di fatto !
Abbiamo trascorso tre magnifici giorni in questo luogo innevato, fuori dalle normali rotte turistiche e questo ancora di più amplifica il piacere di aver trovato un ristorante di tale livello in un posto così isolato, evidentemente la proprietà punta sull'alta qualità non potendo basarsi su una clientela di passaggio.
Se vuoi gustare queste specialità devi venire appositamente !
Tornando alle tre cene posso affermare senza paura di smentite che sono state tutte eccellenti, in totale abbiamo assaggiato oltre trenta differenti specialità di cui è difficile dire quale sia stata la migliore, unite dal comune utilizzo di prodotti del territorio.
Tanti sapori ben amalgamati, tante sensazioni che si sono sovrapposte armonicamente sulle nostre papille gustative, in una vera esperienza sensoriale.
Servizio perfetto, e ambiente davvero raffinato e confortevole, ci siamo sentiti coccolati in ogni momento.
Davvero notevoli anche la camera, spaziosa, silenziosa con una vista spettacolare sulla vallata.
Piacevoli i pomeriggi nella accogliente SPA, con saune e idromassaggio, da cui si gode una bellissima vista sul bosco o sulle montagne circostanti.
Siamo stati davvero soddisfatti e cercheremo di sicuro l'occasione per tornare, per complimentarci ulteriormente con lo chef/patron Heinrich, sempre presente e con la gentile e cordiale Gisela, perfetta padrona di casa, nonché esperta sommelier.

Wunderbares essen, überragender service... man sollte es einmal erleben um zu verstehen was mit passion, herzblut und talent alles möglich ist!
Ein künstler, virtuose und visionär der küchenchef, der service auf allerhöchsten level, an professionalität nicht zu überbieten.
