Magical place, simply amazing! It’s a hidden gem existing since 1832! Surrounded by history, it not only offers a unique experience but also (probably) the best food in Palermo. Must visit!

Stuff was authentically talking about the food they are serving. Lovely designed and quiet inside, beautiful and lively outside.

We went as a big group. Got arancines (Norma, burra, ragu), octopus pasta, carprese. All very good. There are several floors of seating and the view form the second floor balcony overlooking the church across is gorgeous. A wholesome experience!

Went here with Italian friends who had researched good food. It was delicious. Typical Sicilian. Seated out in piazza, lots of diners and a great experience for a kiwi in Sicily.

We really enjoyed this restaurant! We didn’t have a reservation but didn’t wait a crazy amount of time for a table on a Friday night. It’s a really nice ambiance outside with the basilica. My eggplant parmigiana was absolute perfection. Everyone liked their food. The servers were pretty nice too.

Strongly reccomended. you can find a great variety of local traditional food.
Since 1834 THE place to be to taste the traditional sicialian street food.
the place is clean, the crew is awesom, food is good, cost very reasonable. Better to go there takong a walk. no way to find a parking in that area. As a combo visit the church in front of the restaurant

What a great spot!

We are here with a tour and set up with a tray and not sure what I had but it was excellent!

Pastries, soups and different pizza type breads.

A very popular spot as the walk in traffic was huge.

I hope we get the time to stop here again.

We visited the Focacceria several times. The food has always been excellent. A bit crowded especially during the festivities, but the right place were to try traditional food from Palermo, such bread with spleen, panella, pasta with tomato and anchovies sauce and so on. A real establishment in terms of street food and a mandatory stop in Palermo.

순대 내장 좋아하시면 정말 맛있게 드실 수 있어요!

This place was super crowded, so it took so long, hard to get the burger. But really worth to wait. Tasty! Good vibe!

It is located on a small street near the main old town part of Palermo. I visited it during lunch time, and large number of locals convinced me to try the food. I went for pani ca meusa-the famous sicilian bun with spleen. Served with two cheeses (i guess ricotta and caciocavallo) it is everything you want a local street food to be-greasy, smelly and delicious. However, be prepared for the intense and not very easy taste. I came back later in the day for a coffee and my new favorite dessert discovered in Sicily-cannoli.
The place is popular and sometime perhaps overcrowded with tourists, but definitelly worth visiting for some small bite.

Mythical focacceria with a great street terrace overlooking a gorgeous church and with outrageously good arancina (fried rice bowls with filling) and panelle (sandwich with fried chickpea flour filling)! Arguably, the best place in town to have panelle (according to my friends from Palermo!) also, while waiting for the food we got to listen to really great life music.

Great place to try traditional Sicilian street food. It was tasty, fast and we could also experience this unique italian atmosphere ☺ Prices were ok, service as well. The place is very famous therefore quite crowded but as it’s a “fast food” you don’t wait for the table too long 😉

Many options for traditional local food at normal price. Really high quality. Sometimes crowed but incredibly worth. Try "pane e panelle" and "arancina"
