Sant Alphio Garden Hotel & Spa

Such a surprise when we arrived to see such a beautiful resort. The gardens and the pool with the swim out bar was amazing. The breakfast was excellent The rooms are large and we had a balcony. Our families chose the larger suites and were very happy. One family complained about the hard bed and pillows and they immediately rectified the problem. The director Rosario came to greet us when we arrived and the staff are brilliant. Thank you to all.

The hotel is amazing, it is in an excellent location a short distance from Taormina, there are cafes and restaurants near the hotel, everything is clean and tidy in the hotel and the maintenance is at a very high level. All the staff at the hotel starting from the reception, in the dining room and the maids are great. From the moment we arrived, the owner of the hotel, John, welcomed us. This is an amazing person, attentive, helpful and above all human. Unfortunately, during the vacation we had to cut the vacation short due to a personal tragedy. From the moment we knew John, the owner of the hotel, he helped us in everything possible. We only paid for the nights we stayed at the hotel, he made sure to host us for dinner and arranged a taxi to the airport. On this occasion, I would like to thank from the bottom of my heart the amazing John and the hotel staff for everything. There is no doubt that I will return to the hotel in the future to complete my vacation.

Room clean and big enough for comfort.
Breakfast was probably the best spread I’ve seen in a hotel.
Front desk staff great, welcoming and helpful when I needed help. They also had complimentary snacks - like amazing cookies. I loves that they had coffee available 24/7 in the lobby. I get up early & was so happy to have that luxury.
Would definitely use again if in the area.We had a wonderful experience. We enjoyed staying at the hotel and appreciated staff hospitality and them amazing service. The hotel was very clean and we were very satisfied and will definitely be coming back.

Having visited the Sant Alphio Garden already in 2019 we more or less spontaneously decided to spent another vacation here. Reasons for us were more than obvious. The hotel was offering a very friendly staff, a familiar atmosphere, cosy rooms and a cuisine that I consider one of the best in 15 years of travel from New York City to Abu Simbel.
The Sant Alphio is family owned, with the senior owner frequently visiting the hotel, taking care of the guest's and hotel's needs. Actually I pretty much appreciate his approach, making sure that the hotel remains a comfortable place for everybody.
Rooms and their balconies vary by size and according to your booking. Their interior is mostly classical in design, as is the exterior of the hotel. This means you will find plenty of classical furniture inside and even more statues and architectural ornaments outside here. The hotel's scenery merges elegantly with Mount Etna to the south, giving the hotel a breath-taking look from the lobby and entrance over the surrounding landscape.
Hotel and room cleaning was also excellent. Apartment got excellently cleaned and desinfected on a daily base. My thank you still goes here to the lady taking care of room 411 for her excellent services.
One of the major highlights of the hotel is it's excellent restaurant. Breakfast follows international standard with bread, cheese, salami, turkey, bacon, eggs and yoghurt. Latte macchiato, Coffee Americano (Black Coffee), Cappuccino, etc. are served as wake up drinks. Dinner is traditional Italian and consists of several dishes. Starting with bread, a pre-dinner will be served, that is followed by main dish and dessert.
May be one word to vegans and vegetarian here. Some flexibility is required here, as well as the will and ability to arrange with sea food.
The Sant Alphio offers a pool area as well as a hotel beach. The latter can be accessed within a three to five minute walk, depending on one's fitness. The beach and pool area are also quite clean and offer sunbeds that respect 2020's health recommendations (as do all it's facilities). Additionally, the outside loungers are cleaned on a daily base.
The hotel also lies close to Giardini Naxos' small Beach Promenade with some restaurants, souvenir shops, fashion stores and a supermarket. The latter can be accessed within ten minutes of walk.
As a summary, we can recommend the Sant alphio as a good family hotel that offers a 100 percent guarantee for good food, kind atmosphere and friendly services. So the thing I can say is thank you for 9 awesome days everyone of us enjoyed. See you again soon :-)

Stayed here for four nights. Evening meals were very good and room comfortable with everything working. A bit more noise than optimum did penetrate the walls of the room. Good views of Mount Etna from our room overlooking the front door of the hotel. Short walk to the beach and lots of restaurants. We visited nearby Taormina and Etna and Syracuse and Messina are not far. Short drive from Catania Airport.

Lovely hotel with nice rooms and pool area, just a few minutes walk from the beach. Breakfast was also good, as was dinner the one night we ate at the hotel.

Amazing hotel with great spa and swimming pool. The rooms and overall look of the place inside and outside is fabulous.
The food was quite good.

Fab Hotel. Top class. Lovely sea view, balcony overlooking pool too. Service tops, nice seating areas and bars. Enormous restaraunt.

A very comfortable hotel with very friendly staff. Amenities are very good. We had a lovely time and would recommend to anyone that is thinking about Sicily for a holiday.

Stayed here with Trafalgar group and the hotel was great! Nice pool and grounds. Nearby shopping and restaurants. The buffet breakfast was also great.

Great hotel, with the most beautiful garden with sculptures and palm trees and flowers (best garden in Giardini Naxos). Food is great - especially dinner! Rooms are spacy.

Nice atmosphere. A/C works. Note the evening dinner dress code. Dinner menu in several languages.
