Grilled calamari tasted like burnt. Everything else was delicious. Waitress was very nice and not intrusive.

Small family run restaurant serving simple food, but delicious- as it should be! Staff is really nice and go the extra mile to make you feel at home. Spritz was on point and the seafood linguine was very tasty, well cooked and served. The chef brings you the food and explains a bit about the place and traditions.

Something really important to note about this restaurant that might be misleading to most people is its location. It is located right at the bus stop right in the center of the traffic and start of pedestrian area, which might make you think that is not the best option to sit in. However, I dare you try it because this place was a really hidden gem and a really nice surprise. We went on a late afternoon for a light late lunch and I must sell you. We were really surprised. We had the mussels with wine and pepper and I will tell you these were the best mussels I have tried in any restaurant in the world.
We also do try the mixed bruschetta which was to my surprise. Very delicious. Very home style flavor. We also had the seafood salad which I personally will not recommend as they are mainly steamed seafood which I personally dislike but some people do like that so if you like steamed stuff you will probably like it
The place seems to be run by two men who are the cook and the waiter and I think that this created a lovely charm of the place. Also, the interior is very provincial which brings that a little extra local flavor to the atmosphere
To be honest leaving this place, I felt sorry that I did not get to try the whole menu but will surely check it out if I go back

Very busy but found us a table very welcoming food was excellent the Sicilian antipasti was superb swordfish and oven potatoes were really good off the tourist track a bit and very authentic would recommend

We went twice there ... everything we tried was absolutely perfect. We would definitely recommend it to our friends and whoever wants good food. The sea food was excellent, the pasta and the pizza as well. If we were here for another day or so, we would probably try everything from their menu. Thank you to all.

A lovely, homely authentic Sicilian restaurant. Catered for gluten free pizza which was delicious and also allowed for takeaway (some places in Taormina don’t allow for this) the owner and staff were very friendly especially to English speaking tourists, definitely recommend!!

It has eveything - food, price, service and the best atmosphere of any restaurant we visited in Sicily. Very enjoyable. If you only have one free night in Taormina, this is the place for dinner.

The best restaurant in Taormina! Recommend their fish soup!! Love their seafood too! Not in the center of the city. So you can enjoy a glimpse of silence. Staff very helpful and friendly. We enjoyed it very much! Thank you!

We were really lucky to find this lovely restaurant three steps from the city gate Porta Messina this evening - with a homely atmosphere, friendly and professional service and, above all, excellent food. When I asked the restaurant manager about the details of one of our dishes, he gave us the entire recipe, presumably knowing that we would never be able to make it as well as his chef.

Best seafood pasta in my life. Lasagne were also really good. Tiramisu is also great. Only downside is when you sit outside you are basically on street where bus comes, so sit inside and try some seafood.

It’s a bit hidden from to the pedestrian zone but it’s worth it to go there as the food is delicious and the service is great. The prices are fair and different to the most.

The service in Sapori Di Mare was top notch . The food was e x c e l l e n t . The pasta for the kids the starters the mixed fish plate the great chicken the grilled calamari and even the steaks .
The tiramisu at the end was gentle and tasty and the cassata was very good finish for a joyful meal .
I Definitely recommend the place if you can get in .

Number one sea food, service, place in taormina. Very good prices. I was first day because it was the nearest place to my guesthouse and it was the best choice. And I was back next days and another dishes was also very delicious. Very friendly owner

We had dinner twice in this restaurant. The waiters and really kind and attentive. Food and wine are good, prices are better than in other places in Taormina. We highly recommend it. Parmigiana, Gnocci, Cannoli are TOP! Must try!

We had a really nice lunch here, we tried the sicilian antipasti, which was a very good selection of local cheese, veggies and salami. Then we had pizza alla norma, the eggplant on it was really tasty. The waiters are nice and kind, so we had a really pleasant experience.
