The Fishery - Marotta

This place has SUPER FRESH SEAFOOD!! Everything taste great! We ordered oyster, black mussel, shrimp, and a whole steamed fish.

They sell seafood to nearby restaurants so the seafood is guaranteed to be fresh.

The staff is nice and clean restrooms too. Glass of wine went well with the seafood. They take credit card too.

We are staying in camping Eden and wanted fresh fish. And we found it! Recolmend everyone.

It’s a “must visit” place, if you like seafood. Reasonable prices for tasty food. You can ask chef to cook something for you and enjoy it just near the entrance of the shop (there are few tables there). Atmosphere is amazing. You can also buy it raw and cook it at home. There are also some “ready to it” fresh seafood salads. I bought something every other day. There’s extremely wide choice of seafood. It’s really worth visiting!

Ultra fresh fish which you can select personally and the staff then cook it for you to perfection. We ordered oysters, calamari and red snapper (filleted so well there were no bones and baked with tomatoes and capers, delicious!). We paid a total of 53 euro, really good price for what we got. Wish we were staying in Naxos for a bit longer!

It wasn’t the moment when the owner glided his hands into a bucket of shrimp so fresh you thought maybe this is you’re lucky day. It wasn’t the moment when he takes you in the back of the store, to a table on the porch, and throws down Szechuan green peppers. Or when he throws down perfectly prepared crudo of the shrimp you just saw, with what you can only imagine was the sharpest knife Sicily. Or the moment the Szechuan peppers hit your mouth, and the spice plus the tingling begin to work unworldly magic. Or when he brings out scampi with a garlic sauce so refined you feel like crying, but you don’t because you’re a man, damnit!
Maybe it was the moment he comes over with his daughter and starts singing It’s A Wonderful World. Because it really is a wonderful world, damnit.

It's amazing place to enjoy fresh catch seafood and fishes .Really fresh still alive food and you can buy from fish market and they can cook for you alittle amount charge prize and service was fast and delicious food

Incredible!!! Amazing choice, incredibly fresh, local as local and prepared in front of you in whatever way you like. For fish eaters, this is an absolute must. We'll be going back in a few days with total ease. This is the place to go. Grazie molto

There is a shop where you can buy fish and seafood home. Also you can order food to eat in the restaurant. Grilled small octopuses were very tasty with the local white wine!

Just arrived in Naxos and having an early morning walk I discovered this amazing fresh fish shop! I was welcomed with a lively handshake and met the owners and came out with some great swordfish and clams! Fantastic!
