Monte Cofano - Parcheggio per Escursionisti

I attempted to walk to the summit, but there are now (July 2024) several blocking the way due to rockfall. So I walked around instead. Relatively easy and straightforward, just the heat to contend with. Fantastic views in all directions - it took around 2.5hrs

It is not an official parking but it is enough place to park the car and start right with the hiking. From here to the top are about 1-1,5 hours. After the hiking you need only 3min by car to go to the beach - thatswhy this is definitely the better parking opportunity (instead of Parceggio Pizzo Cofano) if you hike to the top but also want to go to the sea.

Wunderschöner Ort und aussicht

El sitio es pequeño, no caben muchos vehículos, pero existe la posibilidad de entrar por otra calle y dejar el vehículo cerca en otro aparcamiento al lado, pero no están conectados ya que han colocado una valla para impedir el paso. El acceso es para vehículos pequeños o 4x4, ya que el camino de tierra está en bastante malas condiciones.
