Tour Of Sicily Day Tours

We were delighted with our 2 day tours with Tour of Sicily from Palermo. Marcello was great driver and we were very pleased that Nicolao looked after us both trip to Segusta and Erice and Agrigento, Valley of the Temples and Villa Romane - he shared such fascinating information, history, facts and fables. He led us round Erice even in thundershowers! Tour of Sicily arranged a local guide for us at Agrigento. Just felt time slightly pushed at Villa Romane but otherwise full marks to Tour of Sicily, these trips were highlights of our visit to Sicily.

This a great opportunity for those who don't have a lot of time. The 2 sites are world class antiquity at Agrigento and Villa Romance. It is good value if you consider extra room rental and transportation to see them on separate days. The length of each visit is good. The best part is the team of guides and driver we had. Very informative. Lots of fun. An expert would want more time.

We had the most wonderful experience from start to finish. 3 of us from Australia wanted to travel around parts of Sicily and it was just so easy to arrange our custom driving trip with these guys. We wanted to arrange our own accomodation but have a driver to get us from place to place, with stop-offs along the way. I would book with Tour of Sicily every time. The team in the office were so wonderful and patient with us during the planning stage and the payment was very easy and secure. Michele, our driver, was so incredible and we had a glorious big Mercedes van so we were in total comfort the whole time. Michele was extremely knowledgeable and shared fascinating historical and contemporary insights into the places we visited. He was so patient with all our questions and also had fabulous recommendations for all price ranges regarding restaurants and each one that we tried was incredible. Such a lovely, hospitable man with really strong English so everything was so easy. Thank you Michele and the Tour of Sicily team for really making our trip to Sicily such a success.

We had a pleasure to take one-day private trip to Mount Etna. It was a very satisfied trip with Vincenzo. He gave us useful information about possibilities how to get near the volcano summit. Vincenzo has a great knowledge about Sicily and speaks English fluently. We enjoyed the trip very much and the customer service. We can recommend the tour operator.

Nicola and our driver were fantastic, we had an amazing day trip to Favignana from Palermo and it was easily one of the highlights of our trip, highly recommend!

Sensational and extraordinary! A tour of this magical island organized by an attentive team in every detail. An authentic experience which really will be in our fond memories. We booked a full 7 days tour around Sicily with private driver Francesco. Although 7 days were not enough. We will come back for sure! Thank you!

This review is slightly different to the norm, whilst the actual tour was great there is an issue I would pick with operator. It was clear the coach was well air conditioned and admittedly when we entered coach, we had picked up a cough from the night before at our hotel, hey these things happen ! when your in an air conditioned environment 24-7! Once on coach it was pretty evident,so had a lot of the other people on coach! However we were the only couple requested to wear a mask offered to us! now I don’t know protocol in Italy currently but quite sure it’s not a mandatory request! anyway we complied but we’re amazed how other people on coach with similar coughs were not! I do not recall this in any fine print, I have my suspicions as to why but that would open up anther can of worms. So unfortunately on this basis I will only give it a one star. Happy for company to reach out to me..

Booked this tour and unfortunately my Mother had a medical emergency back in the states, called to let them know we had to leave. in an email they told me that they can offer me a 30%discount on our next tour, they said everyone was prepaid!! I would have understood if they had kept half, but to keep it all is unreasonable, I own a business and have never prepaid all of my vendors for an event
