Villa Del Papa

Weekend trip, car hire recommended but not a requirement, we found more flexible to venture out and about. Shuttle bus and local transport available. Staff very helpful and English speaking.

We had a fantastic stay at Villa del Papa. The accommodation (Primula Azura) was spacious, nicely furnished and ideal for our family. The owners are very friendly and have created a true paradise.

We will not soon forget the beautiful story about the origin of Villa del Papa!

We will definitely come back. Hopefully we can stay in the big house with the beautiful driveway.

Great place tucked away at the foothill of mountains outside of Pisa. Ran by a lovely couple whose family also stay on site. Highly recommended

We found this off of google. I honestly didn't know what to expect nor did I have high expectations. I even told my husband if we get there and it's not good we are leaving. We pulled up and I couldn't believe the jewel that we had found. This is the coolest place we had stayed at on our European vacation. Beautiful grounds, very nice pool, rooms were nice. I wish we could have stayed here longer than just one night. The owners are on site and made you feel at home. They were super nice and helpful. Great host! I would have given a 10 plus but google only lets you give 5 stars.

Best hotel ever!!! The woman who works here speaks English and she’s very kind. The room was big and clean and the swimming pool is large and the water is clean. The garden is beautiful and I became friends with the cats there. It’s a bummer that I couldn’t stay here longer.

We stayed for one night and we definitely will be back. Amazing experience and so lovely hosts. Clean, well groomed, warm pool.

Ottima villa dove possiamo prenotare per un soggiorno vicino a varie città Lucca Pisa. Firenze Livorno.
Se vogliamo riposare bel giardino fiorito con piscina

Struttura e appartamenti davvero ben tenuti, arredati con gusto e con le travi al soffitto sempre piacevoli da vedere.
Giardino curatissimo.
Piscuna e parcheggio comodi.
Accoglienza piacevole, personale disponibile.
Lucca a 10 minuti d'auto.
Consigliato.

Klare Empfehlung! Wir wurden sehr herzlich empfangen und waren rundum zufrieden. Uns hatte vor allem die Lage in der Mitte zwischen Pisa und Lucca angesprochen. Von hier aus lassen sich beide Städte hervorragend mit dem Rad oder Auto erkunden. Die liebevoll gestalteten Zimmer und der wunderbare Garten sowie der Pool laden zum Entspannen und Genießen ein.

Sehr schöne Unterkunft, und die Gartenanlage ist wie in einem Schloßpark. Alles sehr sauber und gepflegt. Es fehlt an nichts.
Die Besitzer sind sehr freundlich, ja fast schon familiär. Man merkt, dass ihr ganzes Herzblut in diesem Anwesen steckt und sie für Ihre Gäste da sein möchten.
Uns wurde jeder Wunsch wie selbstverständlich erfüllt.
Auch die Einheimischen sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.Wir hatten das Gefühl, unter Freunden zu sein und wurden schon von weiten begrüßt. Die kleinen Läden im Ort, bieten alles was man für den täglichen Bedarf benötigt.
Der Ort liegt weit genug vom Touristenrummel weg aber doch so zentral, dass alle Ausflugsziele (Pisa, Lucca, etc.) in kurzer Zeit zu erreichen sind.
Wir ( 3 Generationen) haben uns dort sehr wohl gefühlt und wären genre noch länger geblieben. Wir möchen uns nochmals bei den Besitzern für die Gastfreundlichkeit bedanken ! Das ist Italien !

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt hier sehr genossen .
Ein traumhaftes Fleckchen. Wunderschöner Pool. Sehr nette Anbieter. Traumhaftes Anwesen . Ein authentisches italienisches Frühstück gibt es bei einer italienischen Bar über die Straße .

Prachtige locatie. Uitstekend verzord. De interessante steden en strand allemaal in de buurt. Kortom prima

Ci sono stata lo scorso anno con la mia famiglia e ci siamo tornati quest'anno a Luglio.
Proprietari gentilissimi e simpatici.
Giardino curatissimo e piscina sempre pulita.Comodo per visitate la splendida città di Lucca e altre località. Amo la Toscana e adoro Villa del Papa...un angolo di Paradiso.

Joli petit coin de paradis. Les propriétaires sont très sympa, avec plein de lieux à visiter à la journée (Pise, Lucca, San Giminiano, 5 terres, Florence, Volterra... ) et très beau jardin pour rester à rien faire.
Pas de repas offert mais le restaurant du frère (La Quercia) est à 3 minutes à pied et il est très bon.
