Hotel Soleado

Had an amazing 5 night holiday here and loved every second. The staff were exceptionally welcoming, polite and attentive, and nothing was too much. The breakfast was fresh, homemade and extremely delicious with a mix of traditional Italian dishes and homemade pastries, with a beautiful vista out of the breakfast window. The pool was perfect with plenty of space, we often had it to ourselves in the second week of July and was a lovely sun spot! The room was basic but more than comfortable and spotlessly clean with a modern bathroom. It was so clean that I walked face first into the shower door thinking it was open when we arrived (true story)! The location was less than a 5 minute from the main street, and en route was a small supermarket which was very very convenient and had everything you could need. The hotel was also away from the hustle and bustle of the centre of town which was lovely. Honestly could not recommend enough, lovely staff, clean and well looked after room, beautiful pool and ideal location. We hope you have as lovely a stay as we did :)

We had a fantastic stay here and wish we stayed longer. Our room with a balcony was very clean, faced the sea and much larger than expected. Location was great , a short stroll the from centre of Taormina! Most of all, staff here were incredibly kind and very helpful! Highly recommend Hotel Soleado.

Location: it is quiet and a bit away from the buzzing streets. But also it takes just a couple of minutes to walk to those fun and buzzing streets.

A 2 star hotel that should easily be a 3 star. The rooms are spacious and very clean, the breakfast has lots of choice of food hot and cold. The staff are very friendly and helpful. 8 minute walk to the centre of town. Book with confidence!

Fantastic little hotel in Taormina. Only 2* but the staff were 5* breakfast was good and coffee was excellent.. rooms are a bit basic but very clean and showers were great. Only a short walk to city centre away from the busy streets...pool is lovely too..

We stayed at Hotel Soleado for a week and really enjoyed our stay. The staff were amazing, really friendly and accommodating. They even offered to prepare a takeaway breakfast for us when we had to get up early for an excursion. The breakfast was delicious and included many home made cakes and biscuits (also catered for those looking for savory options). The rooms were very clean and well air conditioned. Finally, the location is perfect - a 5 minute walk to the town center with lots of restaurants and cafés. Would definitely go back!

Lovely hotel with a nice pool and good breakfast. But what truly sets it apart is the staff. They are so helpful and friendly, you really feel like family. Absolutely recommended.

We spent 1 week here in September 2022 as a couple - we loved our stay! The hotel and room were spotlessly clean. The room was a good size, and we enjoyed the pool, although be mindful it is very shallow! Beds were comfortable, although we had to request more pillows which were provided. Air con works well in the rooms. Showers were fantastic. Our room did not have a safe, which would have been good. There was a mini-fridge which was stocked with drinks was great.

The staff were the star of this hotel - they made us feel incredibly welcome, saying hello every time they saw us, and were very helpful in explaining Taormina using a map and informing us of the different attractions around.

We left the hotel on check-out day at 5.45am for our flight - we spoke to the hotel staff the day before and they offered to make us a pack up breakfast and coffee in a thermos so we could have breakfast in the room - we felt this was really great customer service and they went out of their way to offer this!

Location: A short walk, 10 minutes or less to the start of the main street in Taormina, and also the cable car down to the beach. About 15 minutes walk to the bus terminal. 5 minutes to the nearest shop.

Only areas for improvement - newer towels would be great - ours were worn and a bit scratchy to use. And also the Wifi - you have to re-connect each day, rather than being able to log in once and use for your whole stay. We would also have liked a safety box.

We enjoyed breakfast - simple of italian foods - breads, pastries, cakes, meats, fruit, yoghurt, cereal - so you can mix it up each day. Included juice and coffee.

We would like to say a big thank you to the wonderful family/staff in this hotel - you really made our stay wonderful, and we would recommend your hotel!

This is a family run hotel. The location is a walking distance from the Taormina centre. It is a super clean hotel. Staff are super helpful. Breakfast is simple and delicious. It will make the perfect relaxed holiday.

We stayed in an apartment here, and our room was cleaned every day. It had a nice breakfast with wonderful views. 5 minute walk from a really nice restaurant - Restaurant Etna. It wasn't noisy at all and there was free WiFi by the bar. I would definitely stay here again.

I really enjoyed my stay here, very clean hotel even if a little dated in areas. The only thing I'd change is adding a duvet- but that is a personal preference. I found the hotel to be quiet at the time I travelled.

The staff were always friendly and happy to help this tired traveller.

Taormina is not really a place you use a car in- very strict resident only parking everywhere. The hotel parked our rental for us.

Most places are a walk away, the furthest we walked for dinner was 25 minutes. It is hilly so if you are travelling with someone who really struggles with hills and steps this would not be a good location for you.

The hotel itself is nice and I've not seen a lot with this configuration which is nice. But it was the staff that made it even nicer. They were kind, helpful and friendly. We really enjoyed our stay here and would recommend going there.

It was very good, clean anf excellent Staff. Based on price and service this is a very good option for the value. I would even say it is better than a 2-Star-Hotel. Highly recommend it here.

3 night stay early in season. Taormina is a fantastic place, and the hotel was exactly what we were looking for.

The room was very clean, and it seemed as if it was recently refurbed. Nice pool and secluded sunbathing area.

6 or 7 min walk to Umbretto (the main hub for bars, restaurants, shopping). 10 min walk to the cable car to get to the beach, or a lovely 30 min walk down the cliffs.

Roberto, the owner, was very helpful and a fantastic host.

We had a great time at Hotel Soleado. The rooms are clean and comfortable, the view from our terrace was beautiful and the breakfast was very good!

Hotel Soleado is a hidden **** hotel in the beautiful city Toarmina near the Etna vulcano. Roberto and his family take good, personal and friendly care of their guests from 07 - 2230 every day. The rooms are very nice, good bathroom, balcony and so clean!
Put some effort upfront into finding this somewhat hidden pearl.

a large group of my family and friends recently stayed in the Soleado Hotel while attending my daughters wedding in Taormina. The hotel was spotless, run by a lovely family who always made us feel very welcome, location was perfect, good value for money too. I would definitely recommend this hotel & I hope to return to it again in the future.

For the price in this location I have to give this 2 star hotel 5 stars.
Big and comfortable rooms , friendly and attentive staff.
