Al Trabucco da Mimì

If I could have given 10 starts I would have.
One of my favorite places I’ve been to this year. We went there for lunch and booked in advance.
- Friendly and professional staff. They even went all the way to accommodate our request to get a table right on the sea, as soon as it was available.
- We took the 5 course menu and the paired wine tasting. The food was a mix of traditional and innovative and everything was very good. Special shout out to the traditional mussels and the panna cotta.
- Very nice location and view

Didn’t stay at the rooms but had pre dinner specialty cocktails and dinner. Service is superb and food is creative and thoughtful. Location is absolutely stunning. Was recommended by Chef Andrew Zimmern and the restaurant did not disappoint.

Beautifully situated open air restaurant on a fishing platform (trabucco, still in operation). Interior dining as well, the interior appeared nicely renovated and comfortable. I tried the recommended cocktail made with olive oil, it was deliciously frothy. We shared a wonderful seafood salad and were provided olives, fresh bread and taralli. The chef also sent out two delicious complementary fried anchovy appetizers. All the food was good but we went here for the view and it did not disappoint. On the way out I asked for the bathroom and was sent outside, thinking, “okay now I’m going to an outhouse”, I was pleasantly surprised, great bathrooms too! A warning when you are driving down the dirt path to get here, you’ll be expecting to arrive at a wrecked dive bar, but trust me, keep driving! Only on the way put we notice the hilly side is set up with intimate stadium style seating in the rocks, very nice.

Paradise defined. A bit off the beaten track, but totally worth it once you arrive. I had lunch at the restaurant in 2019, and my dream of returning, and staying in one of the beautiful guest rooms, finally came true. Every day was pure bliss -- thanks in large part to the wonderful family who run the place. My room was beautiful, the food was delicious, and the nearby beach was gorgeous. Sorry I had to leave, and can't wait to return.

Wow, wow, wow, wow, wow!!! We were on a biking trip & recommend to visit this spot. So pleased we ventured down this road - gorgeous venue, you get to see the traditional fishing techniques & the food & wine to die for!

Grateful place where to enjoy good fish. All is about fresh fish locally fished. The location is something that not everyone can have, you are sitting over the sea inside a fishing house. The breath from the sea make the experience unique! The quality of food is absolutely fantastic. The menu is super, the wine menu as well. We got Fiano white wine which was not expensive and very good. The prices are right, not expensive not cheap and we also got a discount at the till. Service is delicate and precise. I would like to come back every day! Absolutely fantastic!

I have been coming here 20 years ago, and found it still has preserved some of its character despite having evolved over time.
There is a dedicated area for having drinks and for enjoying the view and the sunset!
I highly recommend going here - either for a drink or dinner!

We were super excited to visit this place since we heard of it 3 years ago. We finally went there in the beginning of august 2020. Me my wife and our son(2 years old) the welcome was warm and the staff was super friendly. We had the degustation menu for 120 euros for two. We had rhe time to get in touch with the location in between the dishes. The food is excellent and the wine was awsome. We had a little confusion at the end but nothing to worse, they even made a cut for use. Highly recommended!! Thank you gor the meal. And the beautiful evening.

Great food, great beer and wine selection. The seafood is fantastic and fresh. Hard to get a dinner reservation if you don’t call a couple days in advance, we ended up getting a spot at lunch. Hands down best seafood on the coast!

A most marvelous gem of a restaurant out of the beaten path we went to mid September 2019 and absolutely worth the detour! Better if you can reserve a table though! A most friendly family staff and the freshest and delicious seafood! We recommend this place wholeheartedly!

Amazing food and great location. Make sure you book in advance to avoid disappointment as it is very busy! The road down to the restaurant is also very narrow so be careful if driving. Would highly recommend this to anyone in the area, everything is so fresh and delicious. Great selection of craft beer as well we were very impressed. Would come back here for sure!

Absolutely amazing. We tried the Aperitivo which means you are seated on the rocks with funky tables and can watch the sunset. The food is very good and fresh. Had the best calamari fritti! Magical place at sunset

Having dinner at Al Trabucco da Mimi is the one thing any foodie has to do when visiting the Peschici area. The location is wonderfully located right next to the sea (the street to the restaurant is quite adventurous) on a traditional „Trabucco“. The ambience is gorgeous and the service is excellent! Their set „Percorso della tradizione“ menu is a total recommendation since it includes all the Apulian specialties. All the courses were absolutely delicious! The prices are more than appropriate vor this location and quality of food! I cannot recommend this place enough! Reservation seems to be necessary even in off-season times.

Well what to say, a very pleasant surprise! I don't know why but I was expecting an old and shabby trattoria, instead I find myself in a fine quality restaurant. Nice and caring staff. The courses were delicious! I can't say which is the best, maybe the desserts but only because I'm greedy 😁 the Apulian sparkling wine is particular but perfect match with dinner dishes. The desserts were the real icing on the cake! excellent value for money! Bravo!

Thé perfect sunset bar with a good choice of wine and cocktails, fantastic anti pasti and friendly service. A must do when in the region. Also the restaurant serves very good and original mostly seafood with an unbeatable view! Try the pannacotta al limone as dolce!

The best of the best.
Top location directly on the sea, great service, chilled music and the food was awesome as well. Enjoying the sunset view from this place was astonishing.

You can actually take a short walk to the trabucco.

Wonderful little restaurant that I would definitely recommend for a meal and the fantastic setting. The dishes are mainly fish based, I had the fusilli with gamberi cotti and crudi (see photo!) . Portion size is just right, not the usual huge plate of pasta most Italian places do, which is fine in my opinion. We were also brought a little dish as a "welcome" (we were not charged extra for this). Waitress was friendly and helpful, service was fast. For pasta, glass of white wine and water we paid just over 20 each. It is recommended to book beforehand through their website. We were lucky and got a table just walking in, but I would imagine this would never have happened if it were a weekend (or even just later in July/August in full tourist season). Totally positive experience and would recommend the restaurant!
