Incredible place, great food, amazing views and nature surrounding. Wonderful experience for kids!

We we unable to rent a car, but Filippo was an incredible host in arranging all our transportation so that we could have a good trip, even driving us back to the bus station himself when we checked out. I really appreciated all his assistance.

The agriturismo is exactly as I had hoped, quiet cabins up in the mountains, far from any other towns, with an incredible view of Mt Etna. The multi-course Sicilian dinners prepared by Rita on their own are a good enough reason to stay here. Nearly all the food is grown and prepared there at the agriturismo, and it is all so fresh and flavorful!

The only downside is that the rooms are basic, and the shower was very small.

Beautiful place with very good food. The cabins are clean and with a great view of the Etna. Highly recommended. filippo and his wife rita run the place.They were so friendly and helpful. Enza takes care of the breakfast with a friendly and smiley face. Aaron and wilson the dogs are so friendly and of great company.Children can do the milking of the goats, horse rides and several other outdoor activities. Ideally you go by car. Food is all home made from their own crops. We had dinner 3 times and everytime the food was different, abundant and apetising Desserts were delicious. Surely will be back 👍👍👍

Hi Filippo, we left yesterday and as I told you, your place is not simply an experience to remember but to safely keep in your heart. You were simply the best host that we have ever met. Wonderful location at 600 mts, sorrounded by beautiful and peaceful nature, amazing food beyond words - we stayed five days and for dinners we always had a different menu - how can I not mention the Farfalle with wild fennel, the Lasagna with Pistacchio, the chicken with potatoes, the tender pork loin, and all those ultratasteful handmade crostate that we were welcomed with every morning: the crostata with ricotta and chocolate was simply beyond words. A review like this cannot give not even a small idea of how good your place is, but let me say: lodging, amazing, pool, amazing, restaurant, amazing, you, Rita, Enza, Sceriffo and all the other people working with you, amazing. I am sorry I only have this small textbox to write in, I would have thousand things to say but suffice to say you are in our heart and forever will be. We will definitely come back. In the meantime, I really recommend everyone who will read this review to come to your place and to enjoy the beauty you have to offer. Thank you so much for all you have done for us. This is a very special place to decelerate with its own enchanting atmosphere. Here you feel directly at home. Rita cooks fantastic, we highly recommend to take advantage of the 4 course menu. There is a mixed appetizer plate, a course pasta, a meat course and a dessert, the price-quality ratio is great. We will come back again sometime.

Food was delicious and owners and staff are very nice and friendly.... Poor English breakfast served although the rest was great will be back some day... Please in Sicily eat Sicilian food😉

Great experience!! surrounded by nature with fascinating views. The Agriturismo San Cataldo offers a lot of things to do for the family especially for the kids like archery, horse riding, adventure park, hiking, free climbing etc.. The food is divine all made with fresh ingredients from their agricultural fields and farms. The staff are very friendly especially the owners Filippo and Rita ❤ definitely recommended will visit again for sure 🤗

Filippo and Rita make sure that their guests are comfortable and safe. Food was to die for with 0km as everything was from their farm. Super friendly with good activities to keep young and old occupied. Location is fantastic, very quiet and out of the hassle of big cities. Situated on a mountain facing the Etna. This Agritourismo is ideal for those wanting to detach from the hustle and bustle of cities for a few days.

Filippo is a great host and does the utmost to keep the guests entertained and well fed.

The location is ideal for those who are travelling with children. It is situated over 600m above sea level and it's highly recommended to have a car.

Dinner was always very good, with a lot of the food being produced by themselves in their fields and pastures.

Super! Beautifull views and yummy food. My 2 sons had a blast helping with feeding the goats and taking pony rides. The host made sure that we were confortable and went out of his way to help us. Will visit again for sure!

Fantastic place!! Beautiful location with the most wonderful view of Etna from the cabins, restaurant and pool. Super friendly atmosphere, great for kids and delicious home cooked Sicilian food at the restaurant. Filippo was the most helpful and generous host and made great recommendations for activities.

The owners make you feel like family Philippo the most helpful person I ever met Rita his wife is a AAA +++ cook you never eat the same dish and food is very simple but very very good. The views ars simply breath taking

The location is unique. Filippo, the owner goes out of his way to accomodate all requests. We had dinner twice and the food is excellent. We will be back ☺

The perfect escape into nature while only 15 minutes from some of the best spots Sicily has to offer. This place is an amazing insight into true Sicilian culture. The owners are a husband and wife and the hospitality really shines through in everything they do, especially the food. Breakfast is much better than most bnb and hotels around Italy but the dinner steals the show with the freshest ingredients sourced right from their own land. Highly recommend if you are looking for a great couple retreat or family experience with live animals and great scenery.

Been to San Cataldo for the 2nd time, Never disappointed by the owner Filipo his wife rita and All the staff. Great food and breakfast, wide selection of fresh cakes and pastries from his wife rita and Fillipo makes you feel like home with his character.

Recommend a lot, Nice Chalets, Secure parking and best of all nice views on top of the mountains.

What to say...YOU MUST GO! it's heaven. completely cut off from the world. it's you and the mountains. the beautiful and well equipped chalets are impressive..they make a great stay. the children love the wooden bunk beds. then at the centre of it all...the divine food and the hosts: Filippo, Rita and Wilson and staff. we will always remember you. you made our evenings u forgettable...always waiting in earnest to discover the next plate...WOW. thanks for always being ready to help and for all the Jokes. you made us feel at home. Just some effort to get up the Agri but when there it is totally worth it. Breakfast and dinner with Mount Etna just in front of you, totally surrounded by hills and nature. Rooms are nice and clean and spacious. Breakfast is great with lots of freshly made cakes and Dinner was always served with antipasti, starter, main dessert and wine and all nicely done with fresh products.
"Wilson" the dog, is the mascot of the Agri and keeps the people entertained together with Mr Filippo. Mr Filippo, the owner, is always ready to help and suggest excursions and well done for the workers who prepare food and maintain the Agri. Highly recommended and great value for money.

Been there at end of April Beginning May. A wonderful accommodation with an outstanding view at the the Aetna peak.

Breakfast is superb with lots of cakes and sweets but also a coffee that is remarkable. But best is dinner: much different things on each course. Thank god we've had a small room far down the hill so at least some "sports" we've had to do after that. Not to forget: hiking up that hill makes one feel hungry too :)

Keep in mind: that path up there may be surprisingly. As long it is possible to drive, that "Parco Aventura" has not been reached. And believe me: It will go on! No matter if one may think something other :)

Don't forget to visit their cheese-making ... just excellent!
