Hotel Villa Paradiso

While not a “5 star” hotel, I still give it 5 stars. It was just what I needed. It was clean, lovely views, convenient location to the heart of Taormina, and staff was so friendly. Truly felt like I was staying with family.
While there is no direct beach, the hotel offers a shuttle to a private beach and provides towels. The breakfast was quite tasty (I loved the complimentary pistachio cream that was provided). There is also valet parking with a loading dock outside the hotel). FYI the parking and beach shuttle were are not complementary but worth the convenience.

I can honestly say that this was one of the highlights of our entire trip to Sicily. The staff is friendly and helpful. The hotel is located perfectly between ancient ruins and small Michelin star restaurants. It is well worth the trip up the mountain, which can be a wild taxi ride. The views from the room are absolutely stunning, you can easily see the coastline and mount Etna.

Excellent hotel. Great views of the bay, rooms clean and spacious with a balcony. Friendly, family service. Superb breakfast on the 6th floor, staff helpful and friendly. Definitely return and recommend 💙🌋

Lovely, vintage hotel with real Italian vibe!
7 min walk from funicular to get to the beach. 2 mins away from main street with restaurants of Taormina.
Breakfast was not wide selection, but had all the necessary foods and been fresh. there was an option to order dish on the side in very affordable prices. Waiter was so welcoming and kind.

Fabulous hotel located in the beautiful hills of Taormina overlooking gorgeous views of the sea, countryside and Mt Etna which was amazing. You also had the views at breakfast and the bar area on the sixth floor which was lovely. Beautiful cafes, bars and restaurants located nearby. Lovely helpful staff whose knowledge of what to do in and around town was most helpful, they booked the mini opera for us which we really enjoyed! Little tip for future travellers, get the bus up the hill when travelling to the venue. Do NOT try and walk up that hill and up that path from the train station with your luggage. Luckily we did it coming down to get to the station for our next transfer but it was quite the experience coming down! We spend 7 euros getting the bus from the airport coming in and it dropped us at the bus station in town. From there it was about a 15-20 mins walk but you’re already up the hill at least. Great trip, wonderful place! Hope to visit again!

This was by far our favorite hotel in Sicily. The room was very clean and big enough. The decoration was beautiful, traditional italian, and the receptionists were all really nice.

Centrally located hotel with a fabulous view. Our ocean view room was spacious . We enjoyed our breakfast ( included) and happy hour/ dinner on the terrace. Valet parking available with an hours notice.

We booked the junior suite with the amazing view, the shuttle to the beach club is a major plus!

We loved our stay at Villa Paradiso because of a great location and amazing staff. It’s located next to community garden where you get to see best sunset with Etna views. We had a garden view room which was facing tennis courts with partial sea view. The room and bathroom were very modern with nice AC. Definitely recommend going to the beach club they’re associated with - it’s on a beautiful property with clear water. The breakfast had plenty of choices and beautiful view.

We had a lovely 5 night stay at the Villa Paradiso. All the staff are lovely and very friendly and helpful- especially the breakfast staff ( Marla). The location is perfect with wonderful views and a short walk to the Main Street and all the restaurants and cafes. We loved the view at breakfast. Our room was comfortable and quiet.
We would love to return one day.

Our stay at Villa Paradiso was truly delightful, and we only wish we could have extended our time here. The staff, especially Rafaela, went above and beyond to make us feel right at home. They even surprised our 4-year-old with a fantastic birthday cake that made the occasion truly special. The location and the breathtaking views from the villa were absolutely amazing. We wholeheartedly recommend this property to anyone seeking a truly fantastic and memorable experience. The service provided was top-notch in every way.

We arrived at 10:30pm due to a delayed flight. The website said they had valet until 8pm but when we arrived late after the harrowing drive on the narrow roads up to the village, the friendly front desk person called the valet to get our car. We were so thankful and we were able to get a quick drink at the rooftop bar before it closed. The bar (also where breakfast is served) is really nice with friendly staff. There was a nice breeze up there on a hot afternoon. Our room was nice and clean. The location is ideal for exploring Taormina on foot.

We had a great stay here. Great room with an amazing view of Etna and the shore. The hotel is pretty centrally located in Taormina so everything is very easily walkable. On the downside, it is a little bit more complicated to get to by car. If you rent a car, there are a few valet spots in front of the hotel, but it seems like the self park option that was advertised on the website is no longer available. Valet parking was 20€ per day but was also 24/7, also unlike what was said on the website. You just let the front desk know at least 30 minutes before you need your car and they'll have it ready. Breakfast buffet had a lot of fresh fruit, sandwiches, pastries, etc and it was all great.

Hotel Villa Paradiso is absolutely INCREDIBLE!!! My identical twin sister and I cannot wait to go back! We were in town for a wedding and decided to splurge on a suite. The views were breathtakingly BEAUTIFUL!!! The service was top notch! We had friends who were supposed to come to the wedding and stay at this hotel, but their flights from Catania got cancelled, and the hotel was super accommodating, and even helped them get train tickets to a different city. The food is wonderful and delicious. It has a great selection; especially of cheeses and fresh fruit! They have a partnership with a beach club and shuttle service which we truly enjoyed. The staff is just so kind, friendly, professional, and helpful! We cannot say enough good things about this hotel. It is such a gem. Thank you SOOO MUCH Hotel Villa Paradiso for such an amazing stay!!! 😊❤

Villa Paradiso is one of those places you immediately want to stay for a bit longer than you planned originally!
We stayed at the junior suite with an ocean view - a perfect room with a perfect view!
The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, the view from our room was breathtaking, and everything was just perfect!
We will definitely visit again and advise all our friends to do the same. Th breakfast is the only thing needed an upgrade- the croissant wasn’t warm and so the hard boiled egg. However the double espresso was perfect so it made everything great 😊

This hotel is perfectly situated high on a hill overlooking the city of Taormina. The view is incredible! The staff could not be able nicer or more accommodating. They even parked my car for me better than I did. They have limited parking there, be warned. The room was beautiful with a balcony and views. Ihe hotel is spotless. Breakfast is served to you not a buffet, nice touch after a week of buffets. Walking distance to the Greek theater and several fine restaurants. If I could give them more than 5 stars I would.

This is my favourite hotel. I want to stay here once a year, every year until I'm too old to travel.

The friendliest staff running the nicest hotel with the most amazing view.

We took the night train from Naples and not knowing our surroundings, hiked up to Taormina from the train station at 8am running on little sleep. The staff were kind enough to let us have breakfast that morning and then laid on a spare room for us to freshen up while our booked room was being prepared.

Beautiful and clean room with sea view.
The location is unbelievable and the service wonderful. At arrival we got offered some prosecco to celebrate our first wedding night.
The view from the 6th floor was unreal and so was breakfast.
