Agriturismo Le Chiuse

We just got back from our 10 day stay at Le Chiuse. There is much to be said but I will keep it short. This place is excellent in service, food and staff and an oasis in the middle of a peaceful Sicilian countryside, positioned so that you can reach the major sites, albeit a car is needed and thanks to Giorgio at Le Chiuse, who put us in contact with the local Spataro car hire...also a five-star service. I also want to comment on the AMAZING dinners we had at Le Chiuse...Giorgio, you are a talented chef !
There is a large pool and I would recommend getting a room facing the pool if you can, that way you can see Etna directly from your room.
I big thank you to Giorgio, Seena, Manuela and Tiziana for making our stay a very memorable one...for this reason, we'll be seeing you again ...Ciao !

The property is located in a beautiful area, far from the commotion of the cities... Authentic agriturismo with delicious home-made local products from their garden. The host and staff are very helpful and friendly.
The downside is, like many places in Sicily, the non-stop barking of dogs around the property, which can be irritating when trying to sleep... But overall a very good experience.

We spent 4 nights here. We were 4 people, so we had 2 double rooms with pool view. The best words to describe Le Chiuse are: quiet, clean, charming, nice views, tasty food, friendly staff, careful owner. Giorgio was just perfect starting with our first contact when I searched accommodation for us. He provided a lot of useful info, spent his time with us explaining things and answering our questions. And what a cook he is ! We had 4 dinners there, each one was fresh, regional and unbelievable tasty. Accompanied with local wine, dessert and limoncello of course! Breakfast was rich and tasty, too.
Only thing you have to count with is, that you definitely need a rented car. We explored all eastern coast from Taormina to Noto and to Villa Romana del Casale inland from here and the diner was the final experience for each one day. Thank You Giorgio and keep doing a good job.

Wow we love this place! Giorgio (the host of this Agriturismo) is a wonderful kind guy. We loved to stay at this place for a week. Good breakfast, good pool and wonderful place to relax and enjoy the eastern Sicily! Thank you Giorgio for everything. We recommend this place and would always come back!

Place is wonderful and obviously well taken care of, the owner, his parents and the employees are all very welcoming and nice people. We were there for dinner [cooked by the owner, full of products from his garden] and to spend the night (very clean airy room). Would highly recommend it, be it for a nice lunch or to spend the night in a peaceful place surrounded by nature. :D

One of the best agriturismo in Sicily, been for a holiday with the family and its very welcoming.Place is very well kept, food is great and its very quiet. Also great views of the countryside and etna. Must say that in future we will be back again. Thanks to owner Georgio and staff it was amaizing holiday.

Excellent place for relax and sight seeing vacation! In the evenong they serve excellent food and they are really nice people. We are here the 2nd time already and really like it! We'll come back again. Saluti to famiglia Ghezzi, Giorgio, the twins and the dogs!

Beautiful place to stay for a vacation. Great atmosphere, great people, great food, great pool. Close to many sites, especially Siracusa.

Situat en una zona molt tranquil·la però a prop de diversos llocs turístics de l'est de Sicília. Té una àmplia zona d'aparcament i el recinte està tancat. Té unes còmodes terrasses, jardí i un parc infantil. Els sopars són realment deliciosos i el personal és atent i molt cordial, sempre disposat a ajudar en el que calgui.

Un grand merci à Giorgo et à tout le personnel du Chuise pour leur accueil chaleureux et leur professionnalisme. Agriturismo très agréable avec une vue imprenable sur l'Etna. Idéalement situé pour visiter l'est de la Sicile. Les repas sont très bons et copieux. Nous recommandons vivement cet endroit idéal. Famille Loret

Cercavamo un struttura che ci desse la possibilità di visitare le bellezze della Sicilia orientale oltre al mare; abbiamo bimbo di un anno e mezzo. Abbiamo trovato una realtà favolosa, molto conviviale e informale, abbiamo quasi sempre cenato in agriturismo con piatti gustosi e buonissimi di Giorgio, piscina grande e poco affollata, siamo stati davvero bene. Un grande grazie a Giorgio, la sua famiglia e tutto lo staff sempre gentili, premurosi e anche pazienti, in particolare con il nostro piccolo.

Un bellissimo agriturismo immerso nel verde, situato a pochi chilometri da Catania, Siracusa ecc, ideale per chi vuole trascorrere una vacanza in pieno relax, lontano dai rumori della città. Un complimento speciale va a Giorgio (proprietario della struttura) gentile, disponibile e un ottimo cuoco che ci ha deliziato con i suoi piatti per due cene, e voglio anche fare i complimenti a Giordana, Serena e Manuela che ci hanno deliziato le giornate con la loro simpatia e disponibilità. Scelto per la posizione strategica tra Catania e Siracusa,si è rivelato anche un bel posto. Bella la veduta dell'Etna sulla piscina. Pulita e ben organizzata quest'ultima. Il proprietario che dire......persona gentilissima prima per telefono eppoi di persona. Giorgio ,simpatico,affabile preparato e disponibile. Mi dispiace non aver avuto il tempo di godere della cena che lui stesso ogni sera preparava sicuramente con la stessa attenzione che dedica ai suoi clienti. Camere pulite e sempre in ordine grazie ad Emanuela. Colazione genuina ogni mattina. Struttura ben tenuta e.immersa nel verde. Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo. Unico consiglio che mi sento di dare è quello di variare magari il dolce proposto ogni mattina,che fra l'altro era ottimo. Super consigliato in assoluto.

Se mi dovessi limitare alla struttura mi limiterei a dire che è un buon agriturismo con tanti pro (struttura ben tenuta, pulita, con piscina e sala attrezzi, posizione strategica per visitare più luoghi) e alcuni contro (principalmente non dovuti alla gestione ma da situazione esterne come la lontananza da un centro turistico più rinomato dove fare una passeggiata alla sera o la tenuta della strada comunale piuttosto malconcia). Ma se si considera (e non lo si può non considerare!) il senso di ospitalità di Giorgio e dei suoi collaboratori, la passione messa nel loro lavoro (cucina compresa!) e l'amore trasmesso per la loro terra, la valutazione decolla. Io e la mia famiglia (due bambine) ci abbiamo trascorso sei giorni. Fin da subito ci siamo sentiti a nostri agio, come in famiglia, ed abbiamo vissuto momenti piacevolissimi... dalle chiacchierate con Luigi e Giuseppina al relax in piscina con vista Etna, dalla squisita pasta alla norma (senza dimenticare il resto!) alla vivace serata in compagnia di altri bambini. Sempre attenti alle nostre esigenze nonché validi consiglieri di come vivere al meglio un viaggio in questo angolo di Sicilia. Eccellente

Ho soggiornato a "Le Chiuse" per una settimana con la mia famiglia.
La struttura è perfetta per ricaricare le batterie.
Giorgio e la sua famiglia sono persone fantastiche e l' attenzione che dedicano agli ospiti è davvero ammirevole.
Consiglio vivamente.

Bellissimo agriturismo, un po' nell'entroterra, ma in un posto strategico per visitare le province di Siracusa e Catania. Cortesissimo Giorgio- il proprietario- sempre prodigo nel fornire informazioni e suggerimenti per il soggiorno, nonché disponibile per risolvere qualsiasi problema. Abbiamo anche assaggiato per tre sere le sue specialità culinarie. Da provare!

Ho trascorso poche giorni con la famiglia, posto eccellente, cordialita' buona cucina con porzioni molto generose, camere con tutti i conforto. Giorgio il titolare, persona fantastica come le sue collaboratrici. Consiglio vivamente per staccare la spina dal quotidiano. Ottimo per la tranquillita'
che si percepisce.
