Camping Sotto Il Faggio

This is the best camping experience I’ve ever had in my life and I’m really enjoyed the two days camping with wonderful nature and you have the best services to give us to have this opportunity to live forgetting our everyday life. So I will come again to stay a long week. Everywhere is very clean and well organized by the staff and they are very kind and helpful. Thank you very much for everything.

Other reviews true - this place is splendidly run.. even if it gets a little busy on weekends. Personally I can't stand crowds (or children) but I still very much enjoyed my stay. If you really want to avoid the natives there are quiet pitches in the woods. Otherwise choose the places near the river - the theraputic sound of running water will deal with any unwanted noise. Excellent beer (not the usual rubbish) and good coffee very fairly priced. The hosts are capable & efficient (various languages spoken) but also most agreeable. You get the feeling they really want everyone to enjoy the special place and community atmosphere they've created.

This is one of my most memorable places of my trip through Italy. The people were very kind and I ate one of the best pizzas I've ever had. At night you will even see fireflies on the campsite. And at night the water stream next to the tent was really calming while falling asleep. Would definitely recommend going here!

This campsite is one of a kind. In a tranquill canyon next to a small stream. The team is super nice and the ameneties are well kept. Places are big and you can make a fire if you collect wood. Beautiful hikes possible in the mountains. No mobile service which is a GOOD thing to really connect with the place.

Wonderful location and the kindest people make this place a paradise. Coming back year after year for the magic atmosphere really into the nature. You can have your own fire next to the tent or join the best pizza night ever. Love it.

Great remote spot with many hiking and outdoor activity options.

It was great to light a fire in the evening and look at the stars during the night.

You won't easily find a camping site with a more gorgeous view of the Italian Alps. A small stream passes the site, perfect for cooling down on a hot day. Staff is super friendly.

Super friendly staff and wonderful location. It was heaven to sleep there and take a short hike the next day. We will be back for sure!

Wenn wir Campen, bevorzugen wir in der Regel kleine Plätze. So sind wir dann im Internet (zum GLÜCK!!!) durch Zufall auf diesen Campingplatz gestoßen.
Wir waren noch nie an einem so wunderschönen Ort, der mit soviel Liebe und Leidenschaft geführt wird, und so viel zu bieten hat.
Dieser Campingplatz ist etwas ganz Besonderes, mir fehlen da auch ein wenig die Worte, das zu beschreiben.
Auch wenn es nicht viel Ausstattung gibt, kein Handynetz, kein Internet, nicht überall Strom, ist alles zu genüge vorhanden, alles immer sauber und vor allen Dingen mit viel Eifer und Liebe gemacht. Die Landschaft ist atemberaubend, besonders, da hier jedes Tal anders wirkt. Wir haben uns 2 Wochen lang super wohl gefühlt und werden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen.
Wir freuen uns jetzt schon auf die leckere selbstgemachte Pizza und den wohlschmeckenden Wein.

Un campeggio da favola!!! Un posto semplice, immerso nella natura, vicino a un meraviglioso bosco di faggi, con il fiume che scorre dall'altra parte, le montagne che si stagliano tutto intorno... La notte è bellissimo accendere il fuoco e vedere le stelle. I proprietari sono due persone squisite, la cena è stata superba!!! Lui un ottimo cuoco! Per gli amanti del trekking inoltre ci sono alcuni percorsi fare partendo direttamente dal campeggio senza usare la macchina. Noi siamo stati solo 3 giorni ma avessimo potuto ci saremmo fermati. Sicuramente ci torneremo. Complimenti ai gestori e al loro bellissimo progetto... Continuate così!

Bellissimo campeggio sul Gesso, sotto i faggi. Siamo stati con i bambini 5 giorni in camper. Molto curato. Pulizia impeccabile bagni e docce splendenti ad ogni ora del giorno. Possibilità di condividere una cena con gli ospiti... noi abbiamo gustato gnocchi fatti in casa. Al mattino su ordinazione pane fresco e brioche. La nostra cagnolina ben accettata anche a cena. I ragazzi che gestiscono disponibili cordiali e gentilissimi. Merita 10 stelle. Niente telefono e wifi..una meraviglia.Torneremo presto

Le camere ovviamente, trattandosi di campeggio, non c'erano. Ma c'era la nostra bellissima tenda! Posto fantastico a S. Giacomo di Entracque, un campeggio molto spartano, non ci sono piazzole mettiti dove trovi i dove vuoi. I proprietari sono persone di una gentilezza e disponibilità uniche esattamente come il loro staff. Il cibo delizioso e abbondante a prezzi contenuti. La pulizia dei bagni maniacale! Se amate il campeggio in montagna, assolutamente da provare!!! Ci sono poi tantissimi posti da visitare per chi ha voglia di camminare. Visitatelo se vi volete rilassare!!

Geweldige groene plek met relaxte sfeer waar de natuur je tot rust laat komen. Camping wordt gerund door een fantastisch stel mensen met liefde voor elkaar, de natuur, eten, verbinding met elkaar/gasten en rust. Hier kun je echt even terug naar de basis. Koken op vuur, slapen in je tent, hout sprokkelen, klimmen, dammen bouwen in de rivier (en stroompjes die over de hele camping lopen), spelletje spelen, boek lezen en vele wandelingen de bergen in. Het sanitair wordt werkelijk waar de hele dag door schoon gehouden door mensen die je altijd vriendelijk begroeten en tips willen delen over de omgeving. Elke avond staat er verse pasta of pizza op het menu en kun je aanschuiven voor een heerlijke maaltijd. Kinderen hebben hier geen speeltuin, animatie of ipad nodig. De natuur is de speeltuin en biedt hen zoveel aan hier. Genieten. Tijdens ons verblijf was er een workshop houtbewerken georganiseerd en dagelijks yoga. Gasten zijn voornamelijk bergsporters en natuurliefhebbers die genieten van ‘back to basic’. Weekenden ook lokale Italianen voor dagtrips en weekendjes. Winkels op 30 autominuten, dichterbij wel mogelijkheden maar minimaal. Geen mobiel bereik maar dat is juist wat lekker is! Zoals ik al zei; geen luxe verwachten maar heerlijk genieten van rust, ruimte, watervallen om je heen, fikkie stoken etc. Life is good!
