Giuseppe Garibaldi Monument

Very nice monument of Giuseppe Garibaldi and the men that helped him unify Italy. It’s in the middle of the a nice roundabout on a hill, it’s very nice to check out day or night. It’s a nice place to go for a walk and sit down and relax. I enjoyed my time spent here and would definitely recommend checking it out.

To be honest, we came here for the view and it was really nice to watch Rome from above. But I would like to mention that I impressed with the monument of Giuseppe Garibaldi. Also, I learned many historical things that I didn't know and I recommend it for sure. It's a long way to come here and it's a little bit tiring, but don't lose the opportunity to learn something new and important while gazing at the spectacular view.

Beautiful monument dedicated to Giuseppe Garibaldi, who was an Italian general and revolutionary. He is known for contributing to the creation of the Kingdom of Italy back in 1861.

The monument is situated in a small roundabout but can be visited from up-close. It also overlooks the entire city and has a nice belvedere point 50m away.

Respect to Garibaldi in the nice park.

The statue is well made, a view of the city is great.

Perhaps the best vantage point to see Rome’s splendor as well as the dome on St. Peter’s Basilica. Remarkable sunset views.

Great monument to a truly monumental historical figure!

You have to visit this place, probably after the Vatican city because it's very close. Amazing view of the city, where you can see the Pantheon, vitorio Emmanuelle, etc. The hill itself plays a very important role during the battles for unified Italy. It is a must see place!!

This is one of my favorite spots to enjoy Rome. The view of the Vatican is terrific in the evenings, and it doesn't get terribly making it perfect for a romantic sunset.

We spent a week in Rome, and while there were plenty of "A" grade spots that we loved throughout the city, this might have been the one that stood out to us as the best random gem. 10/10 recommend the park/woods walk (yes, woods in Rome!) up to the monument. Epic view, which served as an amazing place to scope out the explorations we planned for the rest of our trip!

Awesome place to enjoy views over the city and take a stroll, maybe look for corks on the ground and enjoy the time with some good companions. It's an easy thing walk down the hill and over the bridge from there to get down to the city center.

It's an Historical land mark, which is visited by many tourists every day. Giuseppe Maria Garibaldi, whose statue is being erected over here, was an Italian general, patriot, revolutionary and republican. He is well known for his great contribution for the unification of Italy and the creation of the Kingdom of Italy. He is considered one of the greatest generals of modern times and one of Italy's "fathers of the fatherland".

The sunset views are great, but consider coming at sunrise! You can take an electric scooter up the hill. The monument looks out directly onto the city and the sun appears from behind the mountains. Truly magical.

Here it can make a romantic night for you with a view of the beautiful city of Rome. I think you should spend a few hours of your midnight here and enjoy its peace and beauty.

Nice and unique view of the city of Rome. Not many people know this place but it's very nice because you can see all of the city and the mountains in the background.

Interesting statue of Giuseppe Garibaldi. At the monument one gets an awesome overview over the City of Rome. We got there from Trastevere through the park located South from the monument.
There are several sellers for cold drinks close to the monument which are way too expensive.

Wow. Beautiful view. I learned a lot about Garibaldi in my time around this area.

Must see location with a view over the entire city.
